See the mighty Atlantic meet the Indian Ocean at Cape Point or relax on
the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay where you may well rub
shoulders with the rich and famous as you watch perfect sunsets with a
sundowner. Meander through the winelands and sample some of the
world’s finest wines. Our very own Table Mountain was named one of the
New Seven Wonders of Nature in 2011. Take a cable car up the iconic
mountain and walk amongst the unique and exquisite fynbos, some of
which is found nowhere else on the planet.
Known as the gourmet capital of Africa, Cape Town has a vast variety of
exceptional restaurants which serve simply sublime food. Organic
markets, with superb fresh produce, are easy to find. Both children and
adults must see the endearing Jackass penguins at Boulders – a world-
famous penguin colony – in the sea-side village of Simon’s Town. The
more adventurous will not be disappointed: paraglide off Lion’s Head, Kite
surf at Blouberg, sea kayak, shark dive, hike, take a helicopter flip! Cape
Town is your oyster.
