TISSOCYL NMP
Ecological detergent for the removal of oily lubricants,
bleaching compound for cotton and mixtures

Characteristics
Appearance: white, viscous liquid
Ionicity: non-ionic / anionic
Solubility/Emulsifiability: readily soluble in cold water
pH-value original: around 6.0
Resistance: resistant to acids and alkalis in usual concentrations as well as to
hard water; compatible with anionic and non-ionic products
Storage: at least 12 months if properly stored
Stability to frost: not frost-sensitive, but reversible change of state when exposed to
frost, i.e. the product solidifies, but is fully usable again after
defrosting, stirring is recommended

Application fields
TISSOCYL NMP is a highly efficient ecological detergent for synthetic fibers and their mixtures with
elastane. The use of special microparticles results in an excellent emulsifying of
mineral and silicone oils. TISSOCYL NMP reliably prevents silicone and oil separations on the
machinery as well as partial reattachment of detached silicones on the goods.
TISSOCYL NMP is suitable as a compound for the discontinuous hydrogen peroxide bleaching of
cotton and mixtures. An optimal degree of whiteness is reached because the bleaching process is
mild.
The above results have been obtained from trials in our laboratory and plant. In the light
of changing conditions they can serve only as a guide and are therefore offered without

Guidelines for application
TISSOCYL NMP is readily soluble in cold water.
We recommend to clean the machine before the first use with 3 - 5 g/l TISSOCYL NMP at
70 - 80°C because TISSOCYL NMP is able to remove oily impurities from the units.
Suggested quantities to be applied:
Discontinuous prescouring (synthetics and synthetics/elastane):
1.0 t o 3.0 g/l TISSOCYL NMP
pH 7 to 9 (soda ash) 20 min at 70°C
Continuous prescouring (synthetics, synthetics/elastane, polyester/wool/elastane):
1.0 t o 3.0 g/l TISSOCYL NMP
pH 7 to 9 (soda ash) 50 to 80°C
Add the TISSOCYL NMP doses (concentrated product or stock solution) to the first washing
compartments, rinse at 35 to 70°C by counterflow principle.
The stock solution of TISSOCYL NMP separates und has to be stirred continuously.
Bleaching of cotton:
3.0 - 5.0 g/l TISSOCYL NMP
8.0 - 10.0 ml/l H 2O 235%
2.5 - 3.5 ml/l NaOH 50% 30 - 45 min 98°C
