Flows, Checklists, and Callouts Guide

This guide will give you the sequence of all flows, checklists and callouts as well as how they
link together. Text in italics is someone other than SIC, e.g. ATC, Ramp Crew, PiC. Updated
September 28th, 2018. Version 5. Aircraft Operations Manual Section 4 (PDF 159). This is an
unofficial guide, any deviations from standard operating procedure are not approved, please notify me

Order of Flows, Checklists, and Callouts


 Safety Inspection Fire T: Flush, not lit
 Pre-Power Up Inspection Flight Controls - Aileron & Rudder: Out
 Security Inspection Hydraulic: Disengage steering. Set MFD to SYSHYD,
 Power Up Check Set to Auto then On for 1 & 2, checking for 2800-
 Exterior Inspection 3000psi and > 1 liter fluid.
 Setup Flow and Check Lights: No smoking on, others off
o Replaced by throughflight AC Panel: Cockpit, Passenger Cabin In and Attendant
 Before Start Flow and Check Ice Protection: Windshield out, Others In, Override Auto
 Pushback Autopilot: Disengage Gust lock, Autopilot On, Couple
 Engine Start Callouts * SIC, Verify PFD indicators, Disengage, verify
o Abnormal Starts Audible, Trim 3s each direction, Engage Gust
Lock.
 After Start Flow and Check *
Radar: Standby
 Before Takeoff Flow and Check *
Oxygen Test: Microphone  Mask, 100% Oxygen, Test,
 Line Up Flow and Check *
Verify speaker, Yellow, Smoke Goggles,

 Climb Flow and Check * Reversion Panel: EICAS, PFD; ADC (1 msg), AHRS (3 msg),

 Descent Flow and Check PFD: Verify AHRS aligned, set mode and brightness
 Approach Flow and Check MFD: Check each page
 Landing Callouts RMU: Set local frequencies (ATIS, Ramp, Ground, Tower,
o RNAV Approach Nav)
o Missed Approach Freefall Actuator: Check full down
 Landing Check Gear Pins: Check 4
 Landing Roll Out Callouts
 After Landing Flow and Check * Before Start Flow
