Job Description
Designation: Assistant Manager - CSR | Location: Mumbai
Role:
o Assist CSR team in planning, strategizing and strengthening its CSR portfolio by sourcing and evaluating new
collaboration opportunities with credible organizations and service providers
o Conduct due diligence on potential partner organizations as per the assessment framework developed by the Company
to onboard new CSR partners / implementing agencies
o Provide extensive project management support to implementing agencies to achieve project objectives outlined in the
MoU to ensure compliance
o Co-design project frameworks and monitoring mechanism to achieve project objectives as set out in the Grant
Agreement, and optimize project outcomes through innovative thinking and cross-collaborations
o Track project progress through frequent review calls, field visits, interaction with different stakeholder groups, project
staff, verification of all project documents
o Operate from partner’s office in the initial phase of the implementation until the processes are laid out, project staff is
on boarded and an annual workflow has been chalked out
o Ensure thorough documentation on all projects by organizing and maintaining project data collated through periodic
reports, field visits and ongoing interactions with the project team
o Identify and roll out outcome-oriented volunteering opportunities with implementing agencies and other credible
organizations for the employees of our Company
o Co-ordinate with business teams and other functional units to drive CSR initiatives curated by the Company
o Contribute in developing content for communicating CSR updates to internal and external stakeholders through various
social media platforms, including company’s website
Eligibility:
o MBA or Post Graduate in social work, development studies, social sciences or any other equivalent programs with
specialization on environmental science / sustainable livelihoods / rural development
o Adequate knowledge on social issues in Indian context and support schemes rolled out by the Central / State
governments
o 3-4 years of professional experience in implementing and managing community development projects in the areas of
environment sustainability, livelihoods development, healthcare and education
o Strong project management and problem solving skills, detail-oriented with strict adherence to timelines, and can
operate with minimal supervision
o Must have excellent oral and written communication skills - proficiency in regional language will be an added advantage
o Comfortable commuting to remote areas using public transport, and operating from partner's office
