About ICTAK
The ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) is a not-for-profit enterprise established by the Government of Kerala and
supported by the Government of India in collaboration with the IT Industry under a public–private partnership
model, aimed at bridging the ICT skill gap and enhancing youth employability. Empanelled by the Kerala Higher
Education Department, ICTAK establishes Centers for Skill Development and Career Planning (CSDC&CP) across
the state, delivering professional skill development programs aligned with industry needs. Through collaborations
with 449 academic institutions, 227 corporate partners, and 83 government departments, ICTAK offers training in
Microsoft, Java, DevOps, Cyber Security, AI/ML, Digital Marketing, and more—supported by capstone projects and
internships. In 2024–25, it impacted over fifteen thousand students and nearly five hundred faculty members.
Recognized as a Total Solution Provider by the Department of Electronics & IT, ICTAK also contributes to
government capacity-building projects and programs. Over the past decade, it has trained close to two lakh
participants and received national recognition from the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) for its
innovative training practices in consecutive years.
