Shopping

Shopping means going to some place to buy things. For some people this is a hobby. They go
shopping in their free time. Some people go shopping on weekdays to buy food.
On Sunday we usually go to a large supermarket and buy food for the whole week. I don't like going
there, because there are usually many people. This supermarket has a lot of departments: a food
department, a grocer's, a butcher's, a fishmonger's and even a chemist's department.
I prefer doing the shopping with my mother when I need clothes or books.I also like to go shopping
when I need to buy presents for my family or friends. Sometimes my sister helps me choose
presents.

Seasons and Weather

The year is divided into four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
When winter comes, we spend more time at home, because it is cold outside. We may get fog,
sleet and frost. The trees are bare, because bitter winds have stripped them of all leaves.
In spring nature awakens from her long winter sleep. The trees are filled with new life. The weather
gets gradually warmer. The fields and meadows are covered with fresh green grass. The sky is blue
and cloudless.
When summer comes the weather gets warmer and sometimes it's very hot. It's the farmers' busy
season.
Autumn brings with it the harvest time. The days get shorter and the nights longer. The woods turn
yellow and brown, leaves begin to fall down from the trees. The sky is grey and it often rains.

Means of Communication

Communication is the act of transferring or exchanging information from one place, person or
group of people to another. In other words, it means sharing information or ideas by talking or
writing and receiving information by listening or reading. Communication plays an important role
in human life and society. Along with exchanging information and knowledge, it also helps in
building relationships with other people.
There are two main types of communication, they are:
Verbal communication: Verbal communication uses words and languages to interact and
exchange information. A verbal interaction between the receiver and sender can be oral or
written. So all communication that uses speaking, reading, writing, listening comes under verbal
communication.
Nonverbal communication: Nonverbal communication doesn’t use words, instead it uses
signs, gestures, expressions and other forms of body language. The responses for this sort of
communication will vary depending on how a particular cue is interpreted.
My Plans For Future

Everyone has dreams and plans for the future. In our childhood, we dream of becoming a
doctor, an engineer, an astronaut, etc. There are a number of questions in my mind, and the
one which mostly revolves around my mind is which profession I should choose. It is difficult for
me to make a choice because I am aware that the decision will impact my entire life. I always
dream of a profession that I can enjoy, that brings a challenge to me and satisfies me. I believe
in a job that is like a hobby for me. I just don’t want to do the job to make money. Instead, I want
to love my profession and duty. So, to fulfil this dream of becoming a designer, II hope that I will
be able to meet all the challenges and complete my studies well. After the completion of my
studies, I would like to work in my field, so I can make my dream come true.

My Day

Everybody has a daily routine to follow. The same is also true for me. I am a student of class 9.
Every day I get up early in the morning at around 8 a.m. I brush my teeth and wash my hands
and face. I have my breakfast and then go to school.
My school is next to my my flat. I walk to school. My school starts from 9:00 a.m. in the morning
and gets over at 2.30 p.m. in the afternoon. After I come back from school I have my lunch.
Then I have a little rest wile listening to music. After watching TV for half an hour, I do my
homework for school.
At 9 o'clock my mother serves supper. After it I help my mother in the kitchen. Then at 11
o'clock I go to sleep.

Sundays and holidays are spent differently. We all go places in the morning and return before
lunch. I enjoy my disciplined daily routine very much. That way I don't miss out on anything.

My School

We have all been to school and we have loved each and every moment we have spent over
there as those were the building blocks of our lives. A school is a place where students are
taught the fundamentals of life, as well as how to grow and survive in life. It instils in us values
and principles that serve as the foundation for a child’s development.

I study in the 2nd primary school named after Artak Ohanyan. My school is my second home
where I spend most of my time. Above all, it gives me a platform to do better in life and also
builds my personality.
School is a place where we always study, grow, and establish ourselves, socialize, be a friend,
help others, and love and be loved. School is a buddy that will accompany us from the
beginning of our youth till the conclusion of our lives. At school, we share all of our pleasures
and sorrows, and we constantly rely on one another. This is made possible through the
friendships we share. They assist us in effortlessly overcoming difficulties, sharing moments of
enjoyment together, and looking forward to new paths.

My Favourite Book

Books can tell us a lot about the modern world and ancient times. Books teach us to be kind

and honest. While reading we learn how to solve our problems and make people happy. Finally,
I

think that reading is the perfect way to spend free time and not to be bored.

There are a lot of different kinds of books in the world, for example, thrillers, historical

novels, science fiction, adventure books and others. Teenagers all over the world like reading
about

adventures because they enjoy characters who go through dangers to complete their mission.
Boys

are also fond of thrillers and detective stories because they have interesting story lines and
unusual

endings. As for girls, they prefer romances, historical novels and poetry.
