 Modular system

LUDV section
The LUDV section contains a pressure compensator b

downstream of the metering orifice and two large

load-holding valves. The section flow depends on the
∆p between MP and LS1 at the inlet.
Various types of cartridge valves/plugs1) are available on a
the consumer ports (secondary side). B

The section can be controlled hydraulically or A

electrohydraulically. In the case of electrohydraulic
actuation, the pilot oil is supplied internally.
R2 P LS R1 L X

LUDV section with anti-drift valve

The ADV section is an extended LUDV section. b

Between the consumer port (A and/or B) and the control

spool, an unlockable check valve (ADV valve) is installed
to shut off the consumer.
The ADV option is available on A, B or on both sides. a
B

A special variant of the ADV section is the version with A

an additional A and B port in the flange surface
(e.g. for wheeled loaders, dozers).
In combination with the special wheeled loader inlet, R2 P LS R1 B‘ A‘ L X
double ports (A', B') can be implemented in the inlet optional
(for an example, see page 9).

LS section
The LS section has the same flange face as the LUDV b

section and therefore can be located freely within the

RS20 stack (also several LS sections possible). The
pressure compensator is connected upstream of the
metering orifice and operates independently of the ∆p a
between MP and LS1 at the inlet. This functional principle B

ensures semi-prioritisation of the consumer connected to A

the LS section (e.g. slew drive).
Within the LS section, the LS pressure can be set L1

individually (independent of the system pressure). In

addition, the LS pressure relief valve can be adjusted
electroproportionally. a/b
In hydraulic systems, but also as an option in the
R2 P LS R1 L X
electrohydraulic system, the proven hydraulic torque
control DTS can be implemented.
Various cartridge valves/plugs1) can also be installed on
the secondary side, in case the LS section is used as an
auxilliary section.

Bypass priority module RBM15

An RBM15 can be mounted directly on the RS15 flange
face in order to supply the priority consumer
(e.g. steering) with flow. C
▶ Only one pump required for supplying steering system
CLS
and implement hydraulics
R LS P3
▶ The flow is available in parallel to the working
hydraulics and steering with low pressure losses
▶ The prioritization of the steering is carried out
indirectly via the pressure in the CLS connection that
closes the LUDV pressure compensators in the working
hydraulics.
▶ In contrast to standard full-flow priority solutions, the
bypass priority module avoids additional pressure
losses on the pump flow as long as the pump is able to
saturate the total flow requirement of all consumers,
which results in a significantly improved energy
efficiency.

The functional principle cannot be used for all
configurations! Please consult your sales representative.
