Good [morning/afternoon], I’m Manish Sorout, currently a final-year student at GLA University,

Mathura, pursuing my Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial


Intelligence and Machine Learning .

Throughout my academic journey, I’ve gained both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in
various aspects of computer science. In June 2023, I completed a job-oriented training course at GLA
University, where I gained hands-on experience with AWS services and DevOps practices. This
internship allowed me to deploy a static website on AWS, which gave me valuable exposure to cloud
services and deployment pipelines.

I have also worked on several projects that enhanced my programming and problem-solving skills.
One of the key projects I developed was a Car Rental System using Java, where I applied object-
oriented programming principles to design classes and methods for an efficient and user-friendly
system. The project focused on creating an interactive console-based interface for renting and
returning cars.

Another notable project I worked on is the Driver Drowsiness Detection System, which I built using
Python, OpenCV, and Dlib. This system analyzes facial landmarks to detect signs of fatigue like eye
closure and yawning. It provides real-time alerts to prevent accidents caused by drowsy driving. This
project has further expanded my skills in computer vision and machine learning, and I believe it
holds great potential for real-time safety applications in various industries.

I'm eager to continue expanding my technical expertise and am excited about the opportunity to
apply my skills to solve real-world problems in the field of computer science.
