Life Skills
● We were told about conservation of water in extensive detail.
● Had to take a pledge about saving water.
● It was organized by NSS RVCE, and the speaker was from Rashtrottana.
● Also taught us about how to live a healthy lifestyle,
Talent Hunt:
● We learnt about CARV Hindi’s features in Mood Indigo and other fests where they
have performed exceedingly well
● They called upon some students to do improv acting.
● It was very fun overall to watch such dedicated actors.
NCC:
● Learnt about parts of a rifle, how to hold a rifle
● Understood about different positions used by Army while using an SLR Rifle.
● Got to know about topographical maps, how we can use them to triangulate our
location and use it to get to our destination when lost, via help of compass.
● Also learned to tie different types of knots like: Fisherman’s knot, 8-knot, square knot
and looped knot, amongst others.
Sports:
● We played “Tug of War” in teams of 8-10, where almost all of our team members
(7/9), ended up in health centre, due to torn skins in palms and sole of feet.
