NOTICE TO CORRECT
CONTRACT : SUPPLYING AND FIXING CHEVRON SIGN BOARDS IN
PELMADULLA EE’S DIVISION

CONTRACT NO: RDA/PEL/EE/TEN/2025/14

This is to bring to your attention that, as per the conditions of contract outlined in Section 3
(SBD 03 – Standard Bidding Document of CIDA), you have not commenced the works under the
above-referenced contract, nor have you submitted the Initial Work Programme, which is a
mandatory requirement prior to the commencement of physical works.

The delay in mobilizing to the site and the failure to provide the initial work programme
constitute a breach of the contractual obligations agreed upon. Such inaction adversely affects
the planned project timeline and overall contract performance.

Accordingly, you are hereby issued this Notice to Correct, in terms of Clause 6.1 & 6.2 of the
Conditions of Contract. You are required to:

1. Commence the works on site without further delay, and


2. Submit the Initial Work Programme acceptable to the Engineer within 07 calendar
days from the date of this notice.

Failure to comply with this notice within the specified time frame will compel the Employer to
take further action in accordance with the contract, including but not limited to the termination of
the contract and recovery of any resulting losses or damages.

Your immediate attention and cooperation in this matter are expected.
