Goal: Balance and sustainability in daily life/ a continuous cycle

Conserve nature -> Good ecosystem -> Good well being -> Understanding to love/nurture the

Hard-working to be sustainable

Advocacy and activism for legal-law enforcements

interrelationship between human wellbeing and healthier environments.

Just as human health is better when systems are in balance, nature needs its own
life-support systems to function properly and thrive. Our projects improve
ecological function with outcomes on threatened species populations, vegetation
cover, carbon sequestration potential, water quality, and localised reduction in
spread of invasive species (flora and fauna), sediment & other pollutants in
waterways and aquatic pests.

Nature creates even a mental relationship with nature. It’s a crucial part of our lives that
fulfills us, makes us happy and healthy.

Environmental Studies is the examination of the social, economic and regulatory contexts that
surround the management and monitoring of environmental and ecosystem health.

This major incorporates the study of both social and bio-physical phenomena within their
regulatory and policy frameworks, and is therefore inherently multi-disciplinary.

The Environmental Studies major will provide you with an understanding of the governance
framework in which your professional career in the environment sector will operate, including
the fundamental aspects of sustainability, environmental assessment, law, ethics, development,
energy use, economics and politics.

Consequently, the `ENVI' units of study in this major are complementary to studies in the
physical and natural science disciplines as well as the social disciplines.

For science students, the NGO sector offers diverse and rewarding career
opportunities. Science graduates can contribute their expertise in areas such as
environmental conservation, public health, scientific research, and technology for
development.

What are the career opportunities in NGOs?
