Amine ALLOUHI

Dr. Amine Allouhi is an Associate Professor specializing in Energy and Sustainability, University Sidi Mohamed Ben
Abdellah, Fez, Morocco. Holding a PhD in Energy Engineering, he boasts an impressive academic background and
substantial research contributions, with recognition from esteemed institutions. His expertise has been acknowledged by
CNRST, designating him a leading researcher in Energy Engineering. With over 9 years of teaching and research
experience, he has also made significant contributions to leading energy research projects. Dr. Allouhi maintains global
collaborations with researchers from prominent universities worldwide, serves as a peer reviewer for prestigious
journals, and is often called upon as an expert for international projects. His dedication to mentoring future talent is
evident through his supervision of PhD students, and he has contributed to a comprehensive energy systems
encyclopedia.

Razane CHROQUI

Prof. Razane Chroqui is a Full Professor at Hassan First University, Morocco. She holds a BA in Accountancy, an MA in
Finance (University of Sfax, Tunisia) and a Ph.D. in Management (Reims Champagne-Ardenne University-France, 2009).
Additionally, she pursued a BA in English Studies and an MA in Moroccan American Studies at Hassan II University,
Morocco. Professor Chroqui has organized numerous international conferences and has published in indexed scientific
journals. Her research centers on performance management and its interdisciplinary applications. She has taught in Italy,
Portugal, Senegal, Romania, and Mauritania. As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar Alumna at Michigan State University, she
remains deeply engaged in academic and international research collaborations.
Ismael SAADOUNE

Prof. Ismael Saadoune, a Full Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, completed his academic journey with a French PhD from the University of Bordeaux in 1992 and
a Moroccan PhD from the University Cadi Ayyad UCA-Marrakech in 1996. His dual doctoral pursuits centered on advancing Active Materials for Lithium and Sodium-ion
Batteries, offering promising solutions for energy storage challenges.
In 2002, Dr. Saadoune established the Laboratory of Materials and Environmental Chemistry, where he mentored over 100 graduate and 40 Master students. Guiding the
research endeavors of 25 PhD candidates, all now active in industry or research laboratories, Dr. Saadoune has left an indelible mark on academic and industrial landscapes.
As the principal investigator, he spearheaded 19 national and 23 international research projects on Battery Materials, demonstrating his commitment to advancing energy
storage technologies. His contributions extend beyond academia, as he played pivotal roles in two European Master ERASMUS MUNDUS programs: 'Materials for Energy
Storage and Conversion' and 'Functionalized Advanced Materials and Engineering'.
Currently, Dr. Saadoune leads the 'Electrochemical Energy Storage & Conversion' unit within ACER/UM6P, focusing on collaborative initiatives with UM6P ecosystem:
Development of Battery Materials utilizing African Mineral Resources (P, F, V, Co, Mn).
Recovery of strategic minerals for energy transition via the recycling of End-of-Life Lithium-ion Batteries.
Implementation of semi-pilot demonstrators for Lithium-ion Battery production using the 'Pouch Cell' configuration.
Establishment of rural (Off-grid) and Urban (Electric vehicle) Living Labs, leveraging efficient batteries in projects like the European initiative: Smart Energy Solution for Africa

Dr. Saadoune's expertise has been sought after globally, with invitations to prestigious universities and research centers including Uppsala University (Sweden), Karlsruhe
Institute of Technology (Germany), ICMM-CSIC (Spain), Jilin University (China), and Bordeaux University (France). His prolific academic output encompasses over 160 articles,
conference papers, and project reports, underscoring his significant contributions to the field of electrochemical energy storage and conversion.

Mohamed BAKHOUYA

Prof. Mohamed BAKHOUYA is a professor of computer science at the International University of Rabat. He obtained his
HDR from UHA-France in 2013 and his PhD from UTBM-France in 2005. He has more than ten years experiences in
participating, coordinating and working in sponsored ICT projects. He was a reviewer of research projects for Agence
Nationale de la Recherche, (France, 2011), Ministero dell' Istruzione, dell' Università e della Ricerca (Italy, 2012, 2013, 2016,
2017), Qatar National Research Fund (2019, 2020), European Commission-FP7 (2013-2015), CHIST-ERA (2021-2022) and
for CNRST (2022-2024). He was EiC of IJARAS journal and also serves as a guest editor of a number of international
journals, e.g., ACM Trans. on Autonomous and Adaptive Systems, Product Development Journal, Concurrency and
Computation: Practice and Experience, FGCS, and MICRO. He has published several papers in international journals, books,
and conferences. His research interests include various aspects related to the design, validation, and implementation of
distributed and adaptive systems, architectures, and protocols.
