ORDINATION CEREMONY
For Two Hosts: Ruth Ann Berreros & Kenshin Tigas

PRE-OPENING / ENTRANCE

(Soft instrumental music playing as guests arrive and settle down)

RUTH ANN:
“Good day, everyone! May I request everyone to please settle down as we
are about to begin our program.”

KENSHIN:
“Let us prepare our hearts as we witness this very sacred occasion of
Ordination. Let everything we do today be for the glory of God.”

(Pause for a few seconds as everyone gets seated and settled)

FORMAL OPENING SPILL

RUTH ANN:
“Blessed day to everyone! On behalf of the Philippine Bethelites Assemblies
of God, Inc., we warmly welcome you to this very significant occasion — the
Ordination Ceremony of our beloved candidates.”

KENSHIN:
“Today, we are gathered not only to celebrate, but to witness the affirmation
of God’s calling upon the lives of His faithful servants.”

RUTH ANN:
“This ceremony is a beautiful testimony of God’s grace, His faithfulness, and
His sovereign plan in raising up leaders for His church.”

KENSHIN:
“May today’s event remind us all that ministry is a calling from God — a life
dedicated to service, leadership, and sacrifice for His Kingdom.”

TOGETHER:
“Once again, welcome everyone, and may God be glorified in our midst!”
I. PROCESSIONAL & INVOCATION

KENSHIN:
“To formally begin our program, may we request everyone to please rise as
we welcome the entrance of our Ordaining Council, Staff Bearers, Bible
Bearers, and our Candidates for Ordination.”

II. WELCOME REMARKS & PRAYER

RUTH ANN:
“Everyone, please be seated.”

(WELCOME REMARKS)

RUTH ANN:
“Blessed day once again, dear brothers and sisters in Christ!”

KENSHIN:
“Today is a day of joy and celebration as we witness God’s calling being
affirmed in the lives of His chosen servants.”

RUTH ANN:
“Ordination is not merely a recognition of one’s work, but a divine
appointment to shepherd the flock, to preach the Word, and to serve with
humility.”

KENSHIN:
“To our distinguished ordaining council, esteemed guests, beloved families,
friends, and church family — your presence today is a great encouragement
to our candidates and a great honor to this ministry.”

RUTH ANN:
“May this ordination ceremony ignite in all of us a deeper love for God’s
mission and a renewed commitment to His calling.”

KENSHIN:
“As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:24 — ‘The one who calls you is faithful,
and He will do it.’”

TOGETHER:
“To God be all the glory!”
RUTH ANN:
“Let us now bow our heads as we pray.”

(Host leads short prayer or invite short prayer)

III. NATIONAL ANTHEM

KENSHIN:
“May we all remain standing as we sing our Philippine National Anthem.”

IV. WORSHIP TIME

RUTH ANN:
“With hearts full of thanksgiving, let us now enter into a time of praise and
worship. May we call on the Alab Worship Team.”

V. WORD OF GOD

KENSHIN:
“Truly, God’s presence is here with us. At this moment, let us prepare our
hearts to receive His Word. To deliver the message of the Lord, let us
welcome Rev. Dr. Edwin Y. Mallari.”

VI. PRESENTATION OF THE CANDIDATES

RUTH ANN:
“We have now reached one of the highlights of today’s ceremony — the
presentation of the candidates.”

KENSHIN:
“To give us a glimpse of their ministry journey, let us first watch a special
video presentation.”

“And now, for the formal presentation of the candidates, let us welcome once
again, Rev. Dr. Edwin Y. Mallari.”
