RESOLUTION TO WITHDRAW THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED FORTY-SIX THOUSAND PESOS

(PHP246,000.00) TO PAYMENT OF RICE THAT WAS DISTRIBUTED TO THE AFFECTED FAMILIES


DURING TYPHOON PEPITO LAST NOVEMBER 17, 2024 FROM THE UNSPEND BALANCES OF
BDRRM FUND.
Whereas, our barangay is one of the many areas in the municipality that was greatly affected by
torrential rain and strong winds brought by Super Typhoon Pepito which submerged and devastate
many areas in our barangay causing damages not only to the Agriculture, Infrastructure and Properties
but also endangering the lives of numerous residents;

Whereas, the BDRRM Council had made initial evaluation of the devastation brought by said typhoon
and it was evident and determined that numerous areas in the barangay were flooded and numerous
households was partially and totally damaged which prompted immediate evacuation to a safer place;

Whereas, the Barangay Council distributed relief goods (rice and groceries) to almost 1,300 families in
the barangay as assistance to those who are greatly affected by the said typhoon;

Whereas, on motion of Hon. Renato S. Butay and unanimously seconded by the august body be it;

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUNONG BARANGAY CHRISTOPHER C. MADERA TO ENTER


INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) TO BLGU BANGGOT, BLGU MAGSAYSAY
HILLS AND BLGU SAN FERNANDO, MUNICIPALITY OF BAMBANG, PROVINCE OF NUEVA
VIZCAYA TO TRANSFER THE POPULATION ACCOUNTED TO THEM BY THE PHILIPPINE
STATISTIC AUTHORITY (PSA) TO BARANGAY CALAOCAN, BAMBANG, NUEVA VIZCAYA.
Whereas, last October 2024, the Philippines Statistics Authority conducted Census of Population and
Housing (CPH) in our barangay, wherein some population was transferred and accounted to Barangay
Banggot, Barangay San Fernando and Barangay Magsaysay Hills, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya;

Whereas, Barangay Calaocan is providing services to those people such as Peace and Order Maintenance,
Road Maintenance, Installation of Solar Street Lights, and “Ayuda” (relief goods) during the COVID19
Pandemic and during typhoon;

Whereas, the Barangay Council proposes to maintain the status qou temporarily until 2030 so as not to
interrupt the basic services that the barangay is providing; that the year 2025 to 2030 shall be the
transition period so as not to cause confusion of the records and interruption of the services;
