Brigada Eskwela 2025 Script
Tema: “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa”
I. Opening Segment
A pleasant morning to everyone! We warmly welcome you all to the kickoff of
Brigada Eskwela 2025 here at Vivencio P. Casas, Sr. Memorial High School.
Today marks another meaningful day of unity, service, and bayanihan in
support of our beloved learners.
This year’s theme, “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa”,
reminds us that beyond preparing our school physically, we are also building a
strong foundation for learning through reading and community participation.
II. Introduction of the Event
Brigada Eskwela is a yearly initiative of the Department of Education that brings
together teachers, parents, local government units, private partners, and
volunteers to help prepare schools for the opening of classes. Through shared
effort, we ensure that classrooms and school grounds are clean, safe, and
conducive to learning.
For 2025, we go beyond brooms and paintbrushes—we come together to ignite the
love for reading among our children. Through this initiative, we are helping
shape a nation of lifelong readers and learners.
Education is a shared responsibility. And today, we witness how the spirit of
bayanihan lives on—as parents, teachers, volunteers, and stakeholders come
together for one goal: a better learning environment for all.
Before we begin with our program, may I request everyone to please rise for our
opening prayer, to be led by our Grade 7 teacher teacher, Ma’am Ria Mae
Cantiga, followed by the singing of our National Anthem to be led by Ma’am
Catherine Rosales.

-END OF SCRIPT-
I. Purpose and Importance of the Event
Brigada Eskwela is more than just an annual clean-up and repair activity—it is a
celebration of bayanihan, shared responsibility, and the power of community in
education. It brings together people from all walks of life to work hand in hand in
preparing our schools for the return of our learners. From fixing broken chairs to
decorating reading corners, every small task performed today helps build a
better learning environment. But this year, we go beyond physical preparation.
Under the theme “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa,”
we emphasize the need to cultivate a culture of reading in every home,
classroom, and community. We believe that a child who reads is a child who
leads—and through this initiative, we make reading more accessible and
engaging for all.
Our gathering today serves three important objectives. First, to ensure that schools
are safe, clean, and well-prepared for the opening of classes. Second, to
strengthen community involvement and partnerships in education, recognizing
that learning is most effective when supported by many. And third, to promote
and enrich the reading skills of our learners, aligning with the national goal to
create a nation of readers. By working together, we plant seeds of knowledge,
confidence, and hope—building not only brighter classrooms but also a brighter
future for every Filipino child.
II. Instructions for Activities
Before we begin, here are the key activities lined up for today. Everyone is
encouraged to choose a task they’re comfortable with:
🔹 Classroom Cleaning – dusting, sweeping, and general tidying up of learning areas
🔹 Furniture Repair and Painting – restoring chairs, tables, and repainting walls or
fixtures
🔹 Library and Reading Corner Organization – arranging books and preparing
reading spaces
🔹 School Grounds Beautification – gardening, landscaping, and outdoor cleaning
🔹 Posting Educational Materials – decorating bulletin boards and hanging visual aids
Let’s all work together with care, cooperation, and a joyful heart—because every
effort counts!
III. Signing of Solidarity Wall
As we move forward with today’s activities, let us first take a moment for a
meaningful tradition that highlights the true spirit of Brigada Eskwela.
We now open the Signing of the Solidarity Wall—a symbolic act where each
signature represents more than just ink on paper. It represents commitment,
unity, and hope. It is our pledge as parents, teachers, students, partners, and
community members to work together for a common goal:
To build a nation of readers—Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa.
Each name we place on this wall stands for time, effort, and love we willingly
offer to improve our school and uplift the future of every learner.
We now invite everyone to come forward and sign. Let your name be part of
this wall of commitment—because your support matters, and your presence
today is a promise that no child will be left behind in the journey toward
literacy and learning.
