Sure!

Here's how to connect to a server using FileZilla (a free FTP/SFTP GUI client):

Step-by-Step: Connect to a Server Using FileZilla

1. Open FileZilla
Download and install from: https://filezilla-project.org

2. Enter Connection Details at the Top (Quickconnect bar):

Field What to Enter

Host Server IP or domain (e.g. 192.168.1.10)

Username Your login username

Password Your login password

Port 21 for FTP, 22 for SFTP (SSH)

3. Choose Protocol (FTP or SFTP)

• For FTP (not secure):
Type ftp:// before the host (optional) or just use port 21
• For SFTP (secure):
Type sftp:// before the host, or use port 22
Example:
• Host: sftp://192.168.1.10
• Username: tom
• Password: yourpassword
• Port: 22

4. Click “Quickconnect”
If it's your first time connecting, FileZilla may show a trust prompt (especially with SFTP). Click OK
or Always Trust if the server is known to you.

5. Browse and Transfer Files

• Left pane = your local computer
• Right pane = remote server
• Drag and drop files between the two to upload/download

Optional: Save Your Connection (Site Manager)

• Click File > Site Manager
• Add a new site with:
o Protocol: FTP or SFTP
o Host
o Port
o User/Password
• Click Connect or Save
