Aircraft Operation
PRE-TAXI:

Cabin Check List


Push Back
Start Engines

PRE-TAKE-OFF;

Taxi to Assigned Runway


Auto Pilot on (Do not engage functions until airborne).
Set Airspeed-180 Knots (if equipped)
Set Runway Heading
Set Altitude to level cleared
Taxi into position when cleared

TAKE-OFF;

Take-Off Thrust 94% (Not Full Throttle)


V1 109 Knots
Vr 112 Knots
V2 123 Knots
Initial Climb Rate=10 degrees
Positive Rate of Climb-Gear Up

POST TAKE-OFF:

Engage Auto-Throttle
Engage Heading Hold
Engage Altitude Hold

CLIMB:

Climb Rate 1200 to 1800 Ft/Min.


Accelerate to 200 kias
At 10,000 ft accelerate to 220 kts
Continue Climb, Maintaining 220 kts(N1 will increase from 90% to 96%)
Service Ceiling = FL250

CRUISE:

Cruise Airspeed=230 to 270 kias (N1 77%-86%)

DESCENT:

Reduce to Idle Speed.


Descent rate=1500 Ft/min
At 10,000 ft Reduce Airspeed to 220 kias
At 12 NM from Touch-Down, reduce Airspeed to 170kias

APPROACH:

Reduce Airspeed to 150 kias-Flaps 5 degrees


If put into a Holding Pattern, Maintain 190 kias -Flaps Up
At Outer Marker Lower Landing Gear
Slow to 120 kias
Flaps to Full (40 degrees) in Increments.

LANDING:

After Touch-Down Deploy Speed Brakes if equipped (Spoilers)


At Nose Wheel Touch-Down, Engage Reverse Pitch
At 60 Knots feather to normal pitch
Apply Manual Braking
Exit Runway at 15 Knots

Retract Flaps
Taxi to Terminal when cleared

PARKING:

Parking Brake Set


Engines Shut Down (ctrl+shift+F1)
Perform Final Cabin Check List
