HyperMesh 2024 - Full Command-by-Command Preview

Command: Create Points

Launch Path: Geometry Ribbon -> Create -> Point

Steps:

1. Click the Point icon on the Geometry toolbar.

2. Choose 'XYZ' method.

3. Enter coordinates (e.g., X=0, Y=0, Z=0).

4. Click Create.

Practice:

Create 4 corner points to form a 100mm x 100mm square.

Command: Create Lines

Launch Path: Geometry Ribbon -> Create -> Line

Steps:

1. Click the Line icon.

2. Choose '2 Points' method.

3. Select two corner points.

4. Click Create.

Practice:

Join all 4 points to make the square's perimeter.

Command: Create Surface from Lines

Launch Path: Geometry Ribbon -> Create -> Surface

Steps:

1. Click the Surface icon.

2. Select boundary lines.

3. Choose appropriate method (Lines/Edges).

4. Click Create.

Practice:

Create a surface inside the square.

Command: 2D Automesh

Launch Path: Mesh Ribbon -> Create -> 2D Automesh

2. Select the solid volume.
