Interview Questions for CloudFactory

Purpose: For MBA Organizational Behavior Project (SOMTU)

Individual Level
1. Diversity at Work
o How different are your team members in terms of age, gender, background, or
education?
o What does CloudFactory do to make sure everyone feels welcomed and
respected?
2. Working with a Global Company
o Since CloudFactory is international, how does working with global clients or
teams affect your team in Nepal?
o Have you had to make any changes here because of that?
3. Keeping People Motivated
o What does your company do to keep employees happy and motivated to do
their best work?
o Can you share an example of something your team really appreciated—like a
reward, recognition, or benefit?
4. Cultural Values
o What values or beliefs do you see most in your Nepali team members? (For
example: respecting elders, working together, avoiding conflict, how people
talk in meetings, how they respond to feedback, or how decisions are made
etc.)

Group Level
1. Team Setup
o What kinds of teams do you have here? Are they based on projects,
departments, or something else?
o Do people usually work alone or more in groups?
2. Leadership Style
o How would you describe the way leaders or managers guide their teams here?
(Strict, friendly, supportive, hands-off, etc.)
o What do you think makes a good leader at CloudFactory?
3. Handling Disagreements
o If two employees don’t agree on something, how is that usually handled?
o Do you have any steps or rules for solving problems between team members?
4. How People Communicate
o How do employees and managers usually talk to each other? Through
meetings, emails, chats, or something else?
o Can junior employees easily share their ideas or feedback?

Structural Level
1. Work Roles
o How are jobs designed here? Do people have clear tasks, or do they handle
many things at once?
o Can employees give ideas or make small decisions on their own?
2. Company Structure
o How is CloudFactory Nepal divided—by teams, departments, or roles?
o Do decisions mostly come from the top, or do lower-level employees also get
to decide things?
3. Work Culture
o What are some things that make working at CloudFactory feel different from
other companies?
o Are there any values, habits, or traditions that you all follow?
4. Dealing with Stress
o How does CloudFactory help employees when work gets stressful?
o Are there any programs, activities, or support systems in place?
5. Learning and Change
o When there’s something new to learn—like a new tool, method, or idea—or
when changes happen at work, how do your team members usually respond?
(Are they excited to try it? Do they hesitate? Do they need training or
encouragement first?)
