CHAPTER 5: ADVANTAGES AND LIMITATON

5.1 Advantages

 User not has to remember the syntax. All the specification that what the button will do
can understand just by reading the caption of the button
 It provides tabular representation so everyone can easily able to understand it.
 This application does not need any high specification to run, low end pc can easily run
it.
 Large amount of data is retrieved quickly and efficiently. Operations like Insertion,
deletion, manipulation of data is also done in almost no time.
 For data retrieval, large numbers of lines of the code is not required. All basic
keyword such as SELECT, INSERT INTO, UPDATE, etc are used and the
syntactical rules are not complex in SQL, which makes it a user-friendly System.

5.2 Limitations

 It requires internet to joint application and database. Without internet connection it is


not able to work properly
 Some advance and complex queries like join, index, view, group by, having is not
present in this application.
 Our software doesn’t support PL/SQL blocks.
 Only Microsoft windowbased operating system can run this application, so computer
with other OS cannot able to run it.

5.3 Unique Features

 No required to remember lengthy and complex queries, everything packed behind the
button.
 Create, delete and update operation just by one click.
 This SQL Assist is the independent system it is not work as module of any large
system.
 User not has to remember the syntax.
