Week 12 Salesforce Trailhead Setup Activity

Fall 2022

Step 1 - Register for a Trailhead Account


1. Head to the Salesforce Trailhead Website: HERE.
2. Click on the Sign Up button.

3. Sign up using your VCC email


4. A security code will be sent to your email. Input the security code into the website to
confirm your email.
5. Complete your profile. Include as much, or as little, as you would like. For any company
information, put VCC.

Step 2 - Set Up Training Salesforce Instance


1. In your new trailhead home page, click on your profile.
2. Select “Hands on Org”

3. If you have a Salesforce Playground, select the “Launch” button. If not, select Create
Playground and then select the “Launch” button.

Step 3 - Salesforce Exploration


1. In your newly launched Salesforce Instance, select the “9 dots” menu in the top right
corner.
2. Select Sales

3. Explore the Opportunities, Leads, Contacts, and Account pages!
