CECO FUEL CONTROL-PROVIDE MORE DURABLE SEALING
PLANNING INFORMATION:
EFFECTIVITY: All CECO fuel control assemblies prior to P/N 6877542
(CECO P/N 104OOOA5)Serial No. 2UClO96.
REASON: To provide packings of improved durability less
subject to abrasion when used on rotating shafts.
DESCRIPTION: The throttle shaft and cutoff valve shaft preformed pack-
ings are replaced with improved durability packings.
The fuel control identification plate then is stamped
to show bulletin compliance.
COMPLIANCE: It is recommended that this bulletin be accomplished
any time a fuel control is returned to a distributor for
any reason, e.g., repair (minor or major), flow checkout,
or overhaul.
INTERCHANGEABILITY: Not affected.
MANPOWER: No additional man-hours will be required to accomplish
this bulletin at time of overhaul. At times other than
overhaul, approximately one man-hour will be required
to accomplish this bulletin.
APPROVAL: FAA-DER approved.

ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Any time a fuel control is returned to distributor facilities for any reason
b.65, repair, flow checkout, or overhaul), accomplish the following:
A. Replace two preformed packings P/N 78146-012 (28, Figure 1) on the
throttle shaft (29) with packings P/N MS9021-012. Reidentify fuel con-
trol by stamping nameplate with letter “Cl’. (See Figure 2. )
B. Replace three preformed packings P/N 78146-008 (15, Figure 3) on
cutoff shaft (16) with preformed packings P/N MS9621-008. Reidentify
fuel control by stamping nameplate with letter “D”. (See Figure 2. )
C. Record compliance with 250-C20 CEB-1022 in the White Pages, Part HI,
of the Engine Log Book.
