PLANNING INFORMATION:
EFFECTMTY: All Gas Producer Fuel Control Assemblies prior to
and including S/N lAAC’79.
REASON: To improve filtration and reduce possibility of leak-
age, the dimple-retained speed rotor screen is replaced
with a spot welded screen. The six seal plugs are re-
placed with more positive sealing type plugs.
DESCRIPTION: This bulletin is written in two parts: disassembly of
the fuel control and inspection of the pin-shaft-rotor
assembly; and assembly, testing, and reidentification
of the fuel control.
COMPLIANCE: Modification is recommended at next overhaul
following availability of parts.
APPROVAL : FAA-DER approved.
MANPOWER: No additional man-hours are required at overhaul.

ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
PART I. Disassemble Fuel Control and Inspect Pin-Shaft-Rotor Assembly
NOTE : Before control disassembly, inspect the seal plugs installed
in the AF and BF ports (see Figure 1). If P/N 95872 Plugs
are installed per 250-C20 CEB-1002, do not discard.
A. Disassemble the fuel control according to the Overhaul Manual.
1. Discard P/N 93580 Speed Rotor Screen (dimpled).
2. D&card the six P/N 93497 Plugs; do not discard P/N 95872 Plugs.
B. Inspect the pin-shaft-rotor assembly (refer to Table H-4 of Overhaul
Manual.)
1. If assembly passes inspection, new P/N 96268 Speed Rotor
Screen is to be installed.
2. If assembly fails inspection, replace with new P/N 96445
Rotor and Screen Assembly.
PART II. Assemble, Test, and Reidentify Fuel Control
A. Assemble the fuel control according to the Gverhaul Manual.
I. Install new P/N 95872 Plugs.
2. If new P/N 96268 Speed Rotor Screen is to be installed on the
pin-shaft-rotor assembly, see Figure 2.
Manual.
B. Test the fuel control according to the Overhaul Manual.
C. Reidentify the fuel control identification plate using I/8 in. number
and letter punches as follows:

D. Record compliance with 250-C20 CEB in the White Pages, Part III,
of the Engine Log book.
