Daring Text Titles User Guide

1. Open or Import the Project

• Open the Daring Text [Link] project in After Effects, or import it into your existing project.

2. Navigate the Project Panel

• Preview Composition: View all 12 animated text templates tiled in one composition to help you
select the right one.
• Template Folders: There are 12 folders labeled OTPWT 01, OTPWT 02, OTPWT 03, etc. Each folder
contains the corresponding text animation composition.

3. Use a Template
1. Open the folder for the desired template (e.g., OTPWT 01).
2. Drag the composition named OTPWT XX (where XX is the template number) onto your timeline.
3. Enable Collapse Transformations on the composition layer to achieve transparency, if required.

4. Edit the Text Animation

• Inside the Composition:
1. Open the OTPWT XX composition.
2. Locate the Edit Text composition to modify the text content.
3. Use the Customizer layer to adjust colors and other visual effects.
4. Adjust animation duration using the SubComp Control layer:
▪ The value (in seconds) defines how long the text animation lasts before it transitions
out.
• Using Essential Properties (Recommended):
o On the timeline, expand the Essential Properties of the OTPWT XX composition.
o Make all adjustments (text, colors, duration) directly without opening the composition.
