•
Your assignment should be 2000 words (+/-10%).
•
Use the third-person point of view (he/she/it/they).
•
Your assignment must be presented using the sections as sub-headings (note: each
section does not need to start on a new page).
•
Be sure to use double-spacing, 12-point font, page numbering and 2.5cm margins
on all sides of the page.
•
Include in-text referencing, followed by an alphabetised reference list using the APA
7th referencing style. (opens in a new tab)
•
Please proofread your assignment for spelling and grammatical errors.
•
The file should be a Word document or PDF and named according to the following
format: [Family Name]_[First Name]_[Student Number]_MGTS1301_Ethical
Management Problem Assignment.
Assignments must be substantially your own work. If you wish to report another author's
point of view you should do so in your own words, and properly reference in accordance
with an approved referencing style. When you are paraphrasing someone else’s ideas
without directly quoting you need to provide a reference which usually will include the
author and the year inside of brackets (The University of Queensland, 2025d).
Direct quotations should be used sparingly, form a small part of your work, and must be
placed in quotation marks and referenced. When formatting a direct quote, “include the
author, year, and specific page number for that quotation” (The University of Queensland,
2025e, p.1).
Students are encouraged to discuss issues that arise in this course together, however,
the written work you submit must be entirely your own. Similarly, you must not help
another student to cheat by lending assignments (present or past).

Both in-text referencing and the reference list are extremely important. If you do not
reference correctly, you could be found guilty of academic misconduct.(opens in a
new tab)
Here is some basic guidance for referencing using the APA style. A full guide (including
information on how to cite single authors, multiple authors, no-authors) is available: APA
7th referencing style.(opens in a new tab)

of generative AI in your assignment. This means including a table to explain how you
used AI after the References section of your assignment. You should include the following
