Agenda: The Israel-Gaza Conflict
The Security Council,
Guided by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations,
Recalling all of the relevant passed resolutions of UNSC and UNGA on the situation in the
Israel-Palestine region, especially the 2712, 2720 and 2728,
Expressing grave concern at the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza,
Condemning the acts of Hamas,
1. Emphasizes the urgent need to expand the flow of humanitarian assistance to reinforce
the protection of civilians in the entire Gaza Strip,
a. Urges the provision of immediate and unimpeded humanitarian assistance to the
Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip, including critical food, water and
medical needs,
b. Urges increased support to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine
Refugees in Gaza, recognizing the vital role of the agency, alongside other UN
agencies and humanitarian organizations, in providing humanitarian assistance,
c. Emphasizes for the reallocation of vulnerable groups, especially children, to
comparatively safer zones protected by UN peacekeeping forces,
d. Demands for the protection of media personnels and release of foreign workers and
students held captive in the conflicted zone;
2. Demands that all member states (parties - replaced) comply with their obligations under
international law,
including international humanitarian law, especially with regard to the protection of
civilians, and ensure accountability for all violations;
3. Calls for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages held by (replaced
Hamas) both the conflicting parties;
4. Requests all members states to immediately cease their support with the transfer of
weapons and military equipment to (replaced Hamas) both the conflicting parties;
5. Calls for the movement of UN peacekeeping force to monitor the Gaza strip;
6. Urges all media organizations to maintain accuracy and impartiality in their coverage
of the Israel-Gaza conflict, and to abstain from disseminating information that
encourage violence or hatred;
7. Affirms full support for the commencement of negotiations towards a two-state solution,
with a viable Palestine state without terrorism living side by side in peace and security
with Israel;
8. Decides to remain actively seized of the matter.
