Reefer unit setting guide
Starcool reefer units
Keypad lay-out:
Entering the temperature setpoint:
• Press the Operation key .
• The display will now show the Operation menu. The cursor is in the top row (O01 –
Setpoint). The ID of this row is highlighted.
• Press the Enter key . Now the setpoint value will be highlighted.
• By pressing or the setpoint is adjusted 0.1°C and the setpoint digits are
highlighted in inverse writing.
If the key is held, the setpoint will automatically be incremented by 0.1°C until the key
is no longer held. After approximately 3 sec. the set-point will be incremented by 1°C.
• Upon reaching desired temperature, press and hold for 3 seconds. The setpoint will
be accepted and shown in normal writing again.
• If the keys , or are not pressed for 5 sec., current setting will be cancelled
and previous setpoint shown again.
Entering the Humidity setpoint (if required):
• Press the Operation key .
• The display will now show the Operation menu. The cursor is in the top row (O01 –
Setpoint). The ID of this row is highlighted.
• Scroll to O04 – Humidity setpoint by pressing . Press the Enter key . Now the
humidity setpoint value will be highlighted.
• By pressing or the setpoint is adjusted 1% and the setpoint digits are
highlighted in inverse writing.
If the key is held, the setpoint will automatically be incremented by 1% until the key is
no longer held.
• Upon reaching desired setpoint, press and hold for 3 seconds. The setpoint will be
accepted and shown in normal writing again.
• If the keys , or are not pressed for 5 sec., current setting will be cancelled
and previous setpoint shown again.

Carrier reefer units
Keypad lay-out:
Entering the temperature setpoint:
• In normal operating mode, the display shows the setpoint on the left side.
• By pressing the or key the setpoint is adjusted by 0.1°C and the setpoint digits
start flashing.
• Upon reaching the desired setpoint, press and hold the Enter key until the digits stop
flashing. The new setpoint is now accepted and activated.
• If no keys are pressed for 5 sec., current setting will be cancelled and previous setpoint
shown again.
Entering the Humidity setpoint (if required):
• Press the Code Select key.
• Use the key until Cd33 is displayed in the left side of the display.
• Press the Enter key to select Cd33. The value on the right side of the display starts
flashing.
• By pressing the or key the humidity setpoint is adjusted by 1%.
• Upon reaching the desired setpoint, press and hold the Enter key until the digits stop
flashing. The new setpoint is now accepted and activated.
• To indicate that humidity control is active, the supply LED in the display will flash every
second.
• If no keys are pressed for 5 sec., current setting will be cancelled and previous setpoint
shown again.

Thermoking reefer units
Keypad lay-out:
Entering the temperature setpoint:
• Press the key. The Setpoint menu appears with the cursor in the [TEMP SETP] line.
• Press the key. An Enter Arrow appears in the menu line and the current setpoint
disappears. Enter (type) the new setpoint in the LCD display using the general purpose
keypad.
• Press the key first to enter a minus setpoint. The cursor moves to the right of the
screen as each key entry is acknowledged and displayed.
• Press and hold the key until the cursor stops flashing. The new setpoint is recorded
in the controller and appears in the LCD display.
• The controller will default (return) to the previous setpoint if the setpoint is not entered
within 30 seconds.
• Press the key to exit the Setpoint screen.
Entering the Humidity setpoint (if required):
• Press the key. The Setpoint menu appears with the cursor in the [TEMP SETP] line.
• Press the or key to scroll to [HUM CONTROL] line.
• Press the key to change the mode setting. Cursor moves to end of menu line and
flashes.
• Press the or key to toggle between [OFF] and [DEHUM].
• Press and hold the key until cursor stops flashing. New mode setting appears in
display.
• Press the or key to scroll to [HUM SETP] line.
• Press the key to enter a new setpoint. An Enter Arrow appears in the menu line and
the current setpoint disappears. Enter (type) the new setpoint in the LCD display using
the general purpose keypad. The cursor moves to the right of the screen as each key
entry is acknowledged and displayed.
• Press and hold the key until the cursor stops flashing. The new setpoint is recorded
in the controller and appears in the LCD display.
• Press the key to exit the Setpoint screen.

Daikin reefer units
Keypad lay-out:
Entering the temperature setpoint:
• Press the key. The LED display shows “SET-SPC”.
• By pressing the or key the setpoint is adjusted 0.1°C.
• Upon reaching the desired setpoint, press the key. The new setpoint is now
accepted and activated.
• Press the key to exit the Operation setting mode.
Entering the Humidity setpoint (if required):
• Press the key three times, until the LCD display shows “dHU”.
• By pressing the or key change the value in the LED display from “OFF” to “ON”.
• Press the key. The new setting is now accepted and activated.
• Press the key, the LCD display shows “SET-SHU”.
• By pressing the or key the setpoint is adjusted 1%.
• Upon reaching the desired setpoint, press the key. The new setpoint is now
accepted and activated.
• Press the key to exit the Mode Operation menu.
