Christine: Magandang umaga po sa inyong lahat!
And welcome, welcome, welcome to Math
Day 2025! Are we ready for some serious brainpower?
Kerbe: A very good morning everyone! I'm Kerbe, and this is my amazing co-emcee, Christine!
And yes, Christine, I think we're in for a very exciting day! (Winks at Christine) Are you ready
to be amazed?
Christine: Absolutely, Kerbe! But first, let's make sure everyone is registered. Don't forget to
grab your name tags and get ready for a day filled with mathematical fun, challenges, and maybe
even a little friendly competition! (Looks out at the audience, smiles) Anyone feeling
confident? Show me those hands!
(Registration)
Kerbe: Alright everyone, registration's done, let's get this show on the road! First up, a moment
of reflection. Let's all stand for a prayer, followed by our National Anthem and the ACC Hymn.
(Prayer, National Anthem, and ACC Hymn)
Christine: Thank you. Now, for a very special introduction... (pauses for dramatic effect) ...our
esteemed resource speaker, who's going to blow our minds with their knowledge!
(Introduction of the Resource Speaker - allow for applause and potentially a brief, spontaneous
comment from Christine or Kerbe based on the speaker's introduction)
Kerbe: Wow, that was incredible! Now, hold onto your hats, because we're diving into the
fascinating world of mathematical abstraction and artistic expression!
(Math Talk - again, allow for spontaneous comments or questions from the emcees if
appropriate)
Christine: (After the talk) Wasn't that just mind-blowing? I'm already feeling inspired! Now,
let's give a huge round of applause to our guest lecturer and move on to the awarding of a
Certificate of Appreciation! (dramatic pause) Who deserves this recognition?
(Awarding of Certificate)
Kerbe: Alright, mathletes! It's time to test your skills! Get ready for the Battle of the Brains!
(pauses for effect) Are you ready to rumble?
(Reading of Mechanics for Battle of the Brains – perhaps add a humorous comment about the
rules)
Christine: Let the games begin! May the odds be ever in your favor...or at least, may your
calculations be correct! (smiles)
(Battle of the Brains – add spontaneous comments during the competition, encouraging
participants and reacting to interesting moments)
Kerbe: Next up, a challenge that will test your problem-solving skills! It's time for the Tower of
Hanoi and Rubik's Cube competition! (Looks at audience) Anyone here a Rubik's Cube master?
Don't be shy!
(Reading of Mechanics and Criteria for Tower of Hanoi, Rubik's Cube, and Einstein Says)
Christine: Let's see those nimble fingers and strategic minds at work!
(Tower of Hanoi & Rubik's Cube – add spontaneous comments and encouragement)
Kerbe: And now, for a moment of pure genius... Einstein Says! (smiles mischievously) Let's
see if you can outsmart the great Einstein himself!
(Einstein Says – add some playful comments and reactions)
Christine: Amazing work, everyone! Now, it's time to introduce the brilliant minds who will be
judging our incredible contestants. Let's give a big hand to our esteemed Board of Judges!
(Introduction of the Board of Judges)
Kerbe: And now, for a challenge that combines math and creativity… Math-indak! Are you
ready to get your indak on?
(Reading of Mechanics and Criteria for Math-indak)
Christine: Let's see those creative solutions!
(Math-indak – add spontaneous comments and encouragement)
Kerbe: Time for some fun! It's Math Bingo time! Get those cards ready!
(Math Bingo – add some playful banter and reactions to winning calls)
Christine: And now, the moment of truth! It's the Awarding Ceremony! Let's give a big round
of applause to all our participants!
(Awarding Ceremony – add spontaneous congratulations to winners)
Kerbe: What an incredible day! We've seen amazing skills, incredible teamwork, and a whole
lot of mathematical brilliance!
Christine: We'd like to thank everyone for participating and making Math Day 2025 such a
memorable event! (to Kerbe) What a success, right?
Kerbe: Absolutely, Christine! And now, for our final event, let's listen to the Closing Remarks.
(Closing Remarks)
Christine & Kerbe (together): Thank you for joining us today! Mabuhay! See you next year for
more mathematical adventures!
(Closing Music)
