9-Day Novena to St.

Jude – Patron of
Hopeless Cases
How to Pray the Novena:
- Begin on a Thursday, if possible.
- Light a candle if you can.
- Pray with faith and intention, morning or evening.
- Repeat daily for 9 consecutive days.

9-Day St. Jude Novena Prayer Schedule


Daily Routine (10–15 minutes):

1. Sign of the Cross


2. Say Your Intention:
“Dear St. Jude, I pray to find a suitable job in Chennai or Mumbai, to be reunited with my
wife and daughter. Please intercede for me in this desperate situation.”
3. Pray the Full Novena Prayer (see below)
4. Say 3 Short Invocations:
- St. Jude, worker of miracles, pray for me.
- St. Jude, helper of the hopeless, aid me in my distress.
- St. Jude, faithful servant of Jesus, intercede for me.
5. Pray: 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary, 1 Glory Be
6. Optional: Read Psalm 23 or Matthew 6:25–34
7. End with:
“St. Jude, thank you for listening. I believe the Lord will make a way.”

Day-by-Day Suggestions
Day 1 - Start novena + light candle
Day 2 - Offer your day's work to God
Day 3 - Share a small act of kindness
Day 4 - Attend Mass or watch online
Day 5 - Pray with someone or reflect in silence
Day 6 - Read Psalm 27 or 91
Day 7 - Donate anything (even Rs.10) as a sacrifice
Day 8 - Offer thanks in advance for your answered prayer
Day 9 - Promise to share the novena with someone else
Daily Novena Prayer
O glorious Apostle, St. Jude Thaddeus, true relative of Jesus and Mary, I salute you through
the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Through this Heart, I praise and thank God for all the graces
He has bestowed upon you.

Humbly prostrate before you, I implore you through this Heart to look down upon me with
compassion. Despise not my prayer, but graciously hear and answer me.

I firmly believe that you can grant me this favor because you are one of the chosen Apostles
and a faithful servant of God. Help me, St. Jude, in my present need. I promise to honor you
always as my special and powerful patron, and to spread devotion to you.

Amen.

St. Jude, Apostle of Hope, pray for us!

Short Invocations (Anytime)


- St. Jude, worker of miracles, pray for me.
- St. Jude, helper of the hopeless, aid me in my distress.
- St. Jude, friend of Jesus, intercede for me.

Optional Closing Prayer


May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, and loved in all the tabernacles until the end
of time.
St. Jude, pray for us and hear our prayers.
Blessed be the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Blessed be the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Blessed be
St. Jude Thaddeus in all the world and for all Eternity.
