P1: Good Morning, requesting everyone to proceed in the school grounds as we are about to start
our program.

INTRO

P2: Good Morning Everyone, it is a great pleasure to welcome you this morning for our
Nutrition Month 2025 Opening Program. To begin, let us ask for guidance from God first as we
start with a prayer to be followed by the singing of the National Anthem, Sugbo Hymn, and
Municipal Hymn.

To our dearest Larayanons, students, teachers, faculty members and staff, good morning! Today
is not just an ordinary day for us, today, we will start to unravel the celebration of good nutrition.

Together with the theme: SAMA-SAMA SA NUTRISYONG SAPAT PARA SA LAHAT: FOOD
AT NUTRITION SECURITY, MAGING PRIORITY—

Both: Welcome to the commencement of Nutrition Month 2025!

P2: Isn’t the theme of NutriMonth this year very thoughtful, ate Peaches?

P1: I totally agree with you Precious, and aside from that it’s very empowering as well. Do you
know why?
P2: Hmm?

P1: Because it’s aligned with the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023–2028,
emphasizing collaborative efforts across sectors to ensure every Filipino has affordable, safe, and
nutritious food—as a core right.

P2: I see, so nag focus jud diay sha on making nutrition security as a human right.

P1: Definitely.

OPENING REMARKS
P1: Now, to further enlighten and welcome us with this celebration, let us lend our ears to our
Nutrition Month Coordinator, Mrs. Cahinna G. Pilapil for her opening remarks– a round of
applause please.

P1: Thank you Sir Mangubat for your words of inspiration. Before we proceed with our next
announcements and activities, let us hear a song first from our very own talented Grade
12-STEM Student Ms. Cristina May Malalis, let us give her a hand please.

INTRODUCTION OF CONTESTS PART 1


Now, of course, the celebration of nutrition is not complete without assessing our knowledge,
skills, and abilities when it comes to nutrition. This month of July, we are going to explore
various activities and contests again to see what our new and old students got, especially that the
school is back on track in activities and competitions again.

P2: Hala, I am so excited na ate Peaches!

P1: Ako pud, and with that, let us welcome our different contest chairpersons to discuss their
schedules and guidelines. To begin with, let us have Mrs. Ana Marie Tumulak for the
Poster-Making Contest.

making contest, so, may I have Ms. Juvelyn Binondo to discuss the Slogan-Making contest.

P1: Before we continue to discuss the rest of our activities, we’ll have a small trivia to check

have the chance to answer and shempre will win a prize, anonymous ra gihapon ang prize ha!

What food nutrient is our body’s main source of energy?


Answer: Carbohydrates

It is a water-soluble vitamin found in fruits and leafy vegetables and is also called ascorbic acid.
Answer: Vitamin C

What is the cheapest source of Vitamin D?


Answer: Sunlight/Morning Sunshine
A condition where the body's immune system is weakened, making it more susceptible to
infections and diseases
Answer: Immunodeficiency

A category of food that provides the nutrients necessary for building and repairing tissues,

P2: Now students, in light of this commencement, we are all encouraged to prepare ourselves in

up and we’ll have our SSLG President Mr. John Benedict Quinitio to lead the Nutri-Pledge.

P2: At this point, let us witness the performance of School’s Dance Club that will surely stir up
our energies this morning as they serve us their smooth but powerful dance moves. Let us give
our loudest cheers to the Dance Club!

P1: Wow! What wonderful performance dancers! Our program is drawing to a close but before
we close our program today. I would like to remind all the students to please remain in their seats
and positions for we are gonna be giving further details regarding the clubbing that will take
place later on.
