Data Collection Instrument

To gather meaningful information for our research, we prepared a semi-structured

interview guide with 30 open-ended questions. These questions are grouped according
to our Specific Objectives (SOPs) so we can focus on different aspects of how
academic burden affects the emotional well-being of Grade 11 HUMSS students at
HHGNHS.
We chose this type of interview because it matches our phenomenological approach,
which means we want to really understand each student’s personal experiences and
feelings in detail. The questions are designed to help students open up about their day-
to-day struggles, share how they feel about their schoolwork, what they do to handle
stress, and how it all affects their emotional well-being.
