The SPAS-12 is a combat shotgun manufactured by Franchi from 1979 to 2000 that can operate in semi-automatic or pump-action modes. It was initially banned in the US due to a lack of sporting purpose but later imported after being marketed as a sporting shotgun. The Uzi submachine gun uses an open bolt, blowback design and was one of the first weapons to use a telescoping bolt that allows the magazine to be housed in the pistol grip for a compact design.

The Security Service, commonly known as MI5 (Military Intelligence, Section 5),[2] is the United Kingdom's internal counter-intelligence

and security agency and is part of its core intelligence machinery alongside the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS or MI6) focused on foreign threats, Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) and the Defence Intelligence Staff (DIS). All come under the direction of the Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC). The service has a statutory basis in the Security Service Act 1989 and the Intelligence Services Act 1994. Its remit includes the protection of British parliamentary democracy and economic interests, counter-terrorism and counter-espionage within the UK. Although mainly concerned with internal security, it does have an overseas role in support of its mission The Security Service comes under the authority of the Home Secretary within the Cabinet.[8] The service is headed by a Director General at the grade of a Permanent Secretary of the British Civil Service who is directly supported by an internal security organisation, secretariat, legal advisory branch and information services branch. The Security Service is derived from the Secret Service Bureau, founded in 1909 in a national climate of pre-war paranoia and possibly influenced by invasion literature to control secret intelligence operations in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and overseas, particularly concentrating on the activities of the Imperial German government as a joint initiative of the Admiralty and the War A SWAT (special weapons and tactics)[1][2] team is an elite tactical unit in various national law enforcement departments. They are trained to perform high-risk operations that fall outside of the abilities of regular officers. SWAT team members' duties include: performing hostage rescues and counter-terrorism operations; serving high risk arrest and search warrants; subduing barricaded suspects; and engaging heavily-armed criminals. SWAT teams are often equipped with specialized firearms including submachine guns, assault rifles, breaching shotguns, riot control agents, stun grenades, and sniper rifles. They have specialized equipment including heavy body armor, ballistic shields, entry tools, armored vehicles, advanced night vision optics, and motion detectors for covertly determining the positions of hostages or hostagIn 1972, The GSG 9 der Bundespolizei (GSG 9 of the Federal Police) is the elite counter-terrorism and special operations unit of the German Federal Police.the Palestinian terrorist movement Black September used the Summer Olympic Games in Munich, Germany, to kidnap 11 Israeli athletes, killing two in the Olympic Village in the initial assault on the athletes' rooms. The incident tragically culminated when German police, neither trained nor equipped for counter-terrorism operations and underestimating the number of terrorists involved, attempted to rescue the athletes. They failed and the operation led to the deaths of one policeman, five of the eight kidnappers and the remaining nine hostages (subsequently called the Munich massacre). The group may also be used to secure locations, neutralize targets, track down fugitives and sometimes conduct sniper operations. Furthermore, the group is very active in developing and testing methods and tactics for these missions. Finally, the group may provide advice to the different Lnder, ministries and international allies. The group assists the Bundespolizei and other federal and local agencies on request. These countries had been taking actions against terrorism for several years. But after the (/11 disaster all these countries tok more measures to prevent terrorism. Many laws were passed ike the Terrorism Act 2000 (England) . After facing threats of terrorism the u.s army developed a very efficient rifle for their army known as the m-16 carbine. IT has a M203 40mm grenade launcher attatched to it with a mini missile launcher it also contains the night

vision system. he M16 rifle fires the 5.56x45mm cartridge and can produce massive wounding effects when the bullet impacts at high velocity and yaws in tissue leading to fragmentation and rapid transfer of energy.[36][37][38] This produces wounds that were so devastating that the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)[39] and many countries (Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Burundi, Cambodia, Cyprus, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Mexico, Romania, Samoa, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, etc.)[40] considered the M16 to be an inhumane weapon.[41][42] it contains a thickened extention at the end which helps in its easy holding and the muzzle velocity is

very high.

The German army uses the same rifle with itsw m 16 A2 model. The Indian army

The SPAS-12 has sold well to military and police users around the world [1], as well as to the civilian market. The appearance and intended purpose of the weapon initially led to its 'combat' arrangement, including a unique folding stock, being banned from import to the United States due to a lack of "sporting purpose". The open bolt design exposes the breech end of the barrel, and improves cooling during periods of continuous fire; however, it means that since the bolt is held to the rear when cocked, the receiver is more susceptible to contamination from sand and dirt ingress. It and the Czechoslovak series 23 to 26 were the first weapons to use a telescoping bolt design, in which the bolt wraps around the breech end of the barrel.[6] This allows the barrel to be moved far back into the receiver and the magazine to be housed in the pistol grip, allowing for a heavier, slowerfiring bolt in a shorter, better-balanced weapon.[5]ip for a shorter weapon.e person in the first
