Marvel Writing Practice Worksheet

Reading Paragraph

Ben is 13 years old and loves the Marvel series. His favorite heroes are Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and

Spider-Man. One day, he wrote a list of the movies he watched. He wrote Iron Man 13 instead of Iron Man 3,

and Avengers 21 instead of Avengers 12. His sister Dina, who is 12, laughed and said, "That's all

backwards!" Ben smiled and said, "Oops! I always mix up my numbers!" Then he tried to write "Doctor

Strange" but wrote "Boctor Strange" by mistake. Dina said, "You mixed up b and d again!" Ben used a blue

pen to fix the mistakes. He wrote slowly and checked each word. After that, he drew a picture of Black

Panther and Spider-Man. He gave it to his sister and said, "I may mix up letters, but I never mix up heroes!"
