Saina:- "As different streams having different sources all mingle their waters in
the sea. So, O Lord, the different paths which men take through different
tendencies, various though they appear, crooked or straight, all lead to Thee."
Indrina-:- Today, on the eve of the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami
Vivekananda, we all have gathered here to give tribute to the leader who never
bothered about any community, or religion but made the whole world as his
family.
Prapti : "The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in
yourselves."- Taking these words as a guide, let us proceed to the other part of
today's glamour.

Indrina- Education is not accusation of knowledge but formation of character.

We, myself Indrina Sarkar, Saina Dey, Rupam Dalal, Aishi Acharjee, Prapti Sen
and Srimoy Dutta of class VI, together, roll down a red carpet of warm welcome
to all of you.

Aishi: "So, are we all ready for our visit to the observatory for the project on the
cosmic vision of Indian culture?"

Prapti: "Yes! I'm excited to see how ancient Indian astronomy connects with
modern science.

Rupam: "This excursion will give you a deeper insight into how Indian culture
views the universe.

Saina: "I’m curious about how Vedic texts describe the universe.

Srimoy: It sounds really interesting.

Prapti : Yes and also how it shapes beliefs and practices."

Indrina-"Perfect! Just remember to take notes on these connections and make

sure to explore how all of this shapes the cultural view of the cosmos."
Act-1
The Enlightenment

Background Voice( Saina,)- Purusha Sukta (Cosmic Man Invocation)

This hymn from the Rigveda describes the cosmic being, Purusha, whose body
represents the entire universe. It is an invocation of the divine energy that
pervades all aspects of existence.

Bhikshu(Rupam) - स यजन्मसि यज्ञनं कर्तारमण्या समग्निम्।

आदित्यश्च सोमश्च गणो यं देवा यं महात्मा।
(Pronouncation in English – sa yajanmasi yagnyanam kartaramanya
[Link] somasch gano yam deva yam mahatma.)

Saina - (Translation) -The Purusha, through whose sacrifice the gods performed
their acts,
The great soul, the divine energy, encompassing the Sun, the Moon, and all
forces.

Prapti : - "Teacher, in the Purusha Sukta from the Rig Veda, it says that the
universe is the body of Purusha. How does this relate to cosmic vision?"*

Indrina- "Good question. The Purusha Sukta speaks of the cosmic being whose
body is the entire universe, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all. Swami
Vivekananda, whose 162nd birthday echeos this when he said, 'The whole
universe is the manifestation of the divine.' Cosmic vision is seeing this unity,
realizing that every being and every object is a reflection of the same divine
essence."

Saina- "So, it’s about understanding that everything is interconnected?"

Indrina- "Exactly. Vivekananda believed that once we realize this oneness, we

can transcend the ego and experience the divinity in all. He said, 'You are the
soul of the universe, and the universe is your body.'”

Prapti -: "And how do we cultivate this vision?"

Bhikshu(Rupam)) -: *"Through selflessness, meditation, and serving others. By
constantly reminding ourselves of our unity with the universe, as Vivekananda
taught, 'Serve man as God.'"

Saina - : "How does this relate to the idea of 'Atithi Devo Bhava'?"

Indrina- *: *"'Atithi Devo Bhava' teaches us that the guest is God, which is
rooted in the cosmic vision. When we see the divine in every individual, every
guest becomes a representation of the sacred, deserving of utmost respect and
care.

Saina- : "So, when we treat others as divine, we reflect the unity of the
universe?"

Bhikshu(Rupam)-:'Atithi Devo Bhava' is an expression of this vision—treating

everyone with the reverence they deserve, as we would the divine."*

Lighting the lamp

Aishi - : *"Teacher, why is lighting a lamp so important before starting any

ritual?"

Bhikshu(Rupam)- : "In the Vedas, light symbolizes knowledge and the dispelling
of ignorance. By lighting a lamp, we invite divine illumination to guide us
through the ritual."

Saina- : *"So, it’s like we’re preparing ourselves to connect with the divine
energy?"
Indrina- *: *"Exactly. The light represents the awakening of consciousness.

Act -2
Cosmic Vision
After Song, Debanjan sir's instrument

Prapti-: "Wow, the performance was amazing! The music really made me feel
like we were part of something bigger, like the whole universe was alive."

Saina- *: "Absolutely!
The instrument bring this steady rhythm, like the heartbeat of the divine,
keeping everything in harmony. It made me realize how sound connects us to
that cosmic vision—like we’re all playing our part in God’s grand design."

Indrina-: "Yes, the sound isn’t just music—it is a prayer, a surrender, a reminder
that everything in the universe has its place, perfectly orchestrated."
Program by Bani ma'am

Kajal ma'am dance

Haritalika teej
Prapti- : "Teacher, why is Hartalika so significant? I know it's about Shiva and
Parvati's union, but what deeper meaning does it hold?"
Rupam - : "Hartalika celebrates Parvati's devotion, her years of tapasya to unite
with Shiva, symbolizing the power of faith, patience, and the strength that
comes from unwavering devotion—showing how true commitment can bring
divine union and transformation."

Essence of Kali, the self-knowledge and discovery

Indrina- Let us explore how Kali is the ultimate power behind all spiritual and
yogic movements. She’s the Universal Mother, holding the key to the future of
humanity."

Aishi: "That sounds fascinating! I’ve always been drawn to Kali’s energy. Did
you know that she’s the prime Goddess of Self-knowledge? We can focus on
how Kali guides us back to the Self, unifying all our experiences within us."

Rupam - "I love that! And I heard Kali is also the Nirodha Shakti—the power that
helps dissolve the fluctuations of the mind. It’s like she’s the force behind
yoga’s awakening, helping us transcend the cycle of life and death to
grow and transform."
For English drama by Partha sir

Shiva- : "Parvati, our form as Ardhanarishvara represents the cosmic balance—

strength and compassion, creation and destruction—showing that neither side
is complete without the other."

Parvati- : "Yes, Shiva. It is through this unity that we transcend duality. The
masculine and feminine energies within us are inseparable, reflecting the
harmony that sustains the universe."

Shiva- : "By embodying both, we challenge the rigid divisions of the world,
revealing that qualities like nurturing and assertiveness reside within every
being, beyond gender."
*Parvati*: "Indeed, Shiva. True power lies in embracing both aspects within, for
only through balance can creation thrive and true harmony be achieved." Let's
make the world see the truth.....
