Alex Morgan s Influence
Many people become leaders and inspire those around them with inspirational words that can
determine them to be, or do anything they want. Alex Morgan inspires young and developing
soccer players with these encouraging words, Dream big because dreams do happen. Clearly, she
wants young athletes to be confident and ambitious to do anything they set their minds too, if
they are resolute and credulous. Lindsey Vonn says, Follow your dreams. If you have a goal, and
you want to achieve it, then work hard and do everything you can to get there, and one day it will
come true. Obviously, she definitely put in a lot of hard, laborious work to be where she is today
and inspires others to show that if you work hard enough for what you want, it will... Show more

By showing others that even the shortest amount of words with confidence, it can go a long way.
She has made an impact. Although, she knows that that is only possible by having confidence.
When people see a confident, strong, independent person like Alex they will aspire to be like her.
She is influential enough, that people become like her and influence others. Anyone can do
anything and it is especially easy when you have a positive influence. Alex Morgan is that
positive influence to not only young athletes but women in general. Overall, so many different
people believe in so many different things. Majority of those people chose not to stand up for
what they believe in and instead are very timid. Although, a scarce amount of those people do
take a stand and make great changes. That is why so many young athletes and women look up to
Alex Morgan. She took a risk to fight for what she wanted and has accomplished greatness. For
example, equal pay between male and female athletes. Anyone can look up to her and know exactly
what it takes to be a leader and what to do to get there. She is the most influential
Taking a Look at N. Meningitidis
N. meningitidis and the diseases that it is responsible for are diagnosed by blood samples or a
spinal tap to retrieve cerebrospinal fluid samples. Since the bacteria grows fastidious and is
oxidase positive, it is preferred to grow it on a blood agar plate or a chocolate agar plate at
temperatures ranging from 35 37 degrees Celsius. It can be identified using the Kovac s oxidase
test and if a positive result is found it should be followed with a carbohydrate utilization test. If this
too shows [Link] then a serological test should be performed to determine which strain is
present. The strains of A, B, C, Y and W135 are the only known associated with humans and
disease. Strain B is a weaker form and does not generate an adequate immune response therefore
natural infection is capable of generating some immunity. It is also important in the lab testing of N.
meningitidis to remember that the bacteria is capable of fermenting maltose in cultures which would
set it apart from N. gonorrhoeae. It is imperative to utilize the Biosafety Level 2 to prevent
contamination in lab workers. Most strains and diseases caused by N. meningitidis are treated with
the administration of intravenous penicillin in a natural form. Ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin or rifampin
as well as Chloramphenicol in children are used in treatment. It is also advised that anyone who may
be exposed to the disease be treated with prophylactic treatment in order to prevent secondary
infections. The treatment
Economic Transition of China
Two Years after the death of Mao Zedong in 1976, it became apparent to many of China s leaders
that Economic reform was necessary. By 1978 Chinese leaders were searching for a solution to
serious economic problems produced by Hua Guofeng, the man who had succeeded Mao Zedong as
CCP leader after Mao s death (Shirk 35). As Susan L. Shirk describes the situation in The Political
Logic of Economic Reform in China, restoring the CCP s prestige required improving economic
performance and raising living standards. After the communist take over the country, Mao contained
his emphasis on moral force by demanding that Chinese citizens demonstrate what he referred as
correct consciousness . It is noteworthy that shirk feels that the Chinese... Show more content on

The United States, especially, has been concerned with China s treatment of political dissidents. In
May, President Clinton decided to end linking China s trade status with the United States with its
record on human rights. China is fully aware of United States concerns about its human rights
record. Given the fact that the United States has made it clear to China that that record will be
allied with trade status, China s timing of such restrictive activities has caused United States
legislators and administrators to question China s sincerity in its desire to have a favored trade
status with the United States. China appears not to understand or to be able to follow through on
fundamental modern economic practices. Even on a day to day basis, China s economic leaders
seem unable to understand how some aspects of a market economy work. It is no wonder that
Chinese investors become anxious about their investments. The issuance of shares in the Shandong
Huaneng Power Development Company also demonstrates the lack of expertise on the part of the
Chinese in the modern world market. Certainly, one thing that the CCP has attempted to do is create
a market economy while retaining a state controlled system. The lack of a private capital market has

The And Hopi And Zuni Tribes
The Earth existed for at least 4.5 billion years before modern humans came into being. The different
cultures of the world have different ideas or stories of how humans came to be. The Hopi and Zuni
tribes have creation stories that were passed from generation to generation. These stories claim that
the world, despite being made before man, is meant to be ruled by and sustain mankind. Daniel
Quinn s novel, Ishmael, imagines its own creation myths to showcase how these stories work and the
messages that they send. The Native American myths referenced in this paper and in Ishmael rank
mankind as more important than the Earththrough the timeframe of the creation stories, the way
Earth is described, and how mankind interacts with the Earth. Stories take place in time. Creation
stories commonly take place in the time before mankind is created and end once humans are
roaming the Earth, and the myths of the Hopi and Zuni are no different. When the creation myths
end at that point, they are marking the emergence of humans as the most important aspect of the
story, and of all time. The Zuni creation mythdemonstrates this idea when it says, Sky Father, too,
gives to humans (Leeming 298). That quote is from the last paragraph of the Zuni creation myth and
is an example of how mankind s creation is what ends creation myths. The last few paragraphs of the
Zuni creation myth deal only with mankind s creation and living beings that are created for mankind
s enjoyment and sustenance
##arison Of Polanski s Chinatown And The Girl With The...
Introduction:
The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo follows Mikael Blomkvist, a journalist, and his investigation in
finding out what happened to Harriet Vander, a girl who disappeared 40 years ago. He recruits the
help of a computer hacker named Lisbeth Salander, and together they uncover the real truth and
immense corruption behind Harriet s disappearance. I will be exploring the connections and/or
similarities between Polanski s Chinatown and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by referring to
specific examples and direct quotations. Chinatown and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo share
many similarities and connections between the plot, setting, characters, themes and techniques
whilst also displaying certain differences.

Plot:
The plot in both films are similar but different when looking at certain aspects. Both stories revolve
around uncovering the truth and discovering what s really happening underneath the surface. In
both, the lies and the betrayals quickly pile up. The way the truth is revealed is quite similar, but
the cause of events that take place proves to be different in many ways. Lisbeth Salander says to
Mikael Everybody has secrets, the trick is just finding out what they are. This quote sums up the
importance of discovering the bitter truth behind people s intentions in the film. Both films follow an
investigator and his investigation into a twisted and puzzling murder, but in saying, The Girl With
The Dragon Tattoo follows two investigators which adds a deeper
Diversity In The Workplace. . Diversity In The Workplace
Diversity in the Workplace Diversity in the workplace is imperative even though some commentators
argue that too much diversity can be negative.
Diversity can lead to staff feeling threatened or even annoyed by persons with views and
backgrounds different from their own (Barsoux, Strebel and Manzoni, 2010). Instead of inclusivity,
diversity can end up causing conflicts, as some staff are reluctant in changing their viewpoints and
are less adaptable to change.
The discourse relating to diversity also applies to senior high skilled professionals. As there has
been various discussion over the years to introduce quotas at board level, to assist those from
underrepresented backgrounds. If individuals are selected to become directors based ... Show more

Trying to exclude diverse people from the workforce will essentially exclude them from society,
which is not only regressive and divisive but it would send the economy into turmoil as a result of
how diverse the UK is.
Besides, a lack of diversity will lead to less innovative strategies as different individuals from
different backgrounds wield different experiences and viewpoints. It is argued that If an organization
does not leverage the potent weapon of diversity, it risks limiting its creative potential and ultimately
losing its competitive edge ([Link], 2017).
To ensure that diversity is not undermined in the workplace the Equality Act was enacted. The
Equality Act, prohibits positive discrimination, but it does allow for positive action. Positive action
is when an employer takes steps to help or encourage certain groups of people with different needs,
or who are disadvantaged in some way, access work of training ([Link], 2017).
Positive action is quite beneficial as it enables marginalised groups access to employment, in which
they historically did not have access too.
The Equality Act prohibits direct and indirect discrimination and harassment and victimisation to
individuals with a protected characteristic. The protected characteristics are age, disability, sex,
sexual orientation,
Eulogy
When my Grandmother passed away, I thought about it long and hard. I thought about how I
could somehow do something to make her life here on Earth a tribute from the ones whom loved
her, and the ones that she had touched. This eulogy written for Corolie Feagin Davis, was not
only written as a means to be closure of her life here on Earth, but to celebrate her crossing over
into a much better place. That place, which she has spoken to me and others about on several
occasions, is where she has been laying up her treasures. All my life she has told me, and others,
that she need not gather up her treasures here on this Earth, because as she used to say her treasures
lie on the other side. Every one of us seated here today has had fond... Show more content on

The King s Speech Analysis
Based on the true story of King George VI, The King s Speech is a typical psychological movie
about how George VI, a patient with stuttering, successfully delivered a stirring speech to his people
after the psychotherapy given by his speech therapist Lionel Logue. Stuttering has negative influence
on patient s daily life and work and sometimes is the reflection of mental disorders. It is necessary to
carry out analyses around stuttering. This paper will analyze the causes of King George VI s
stuttering, what are the symptoms of stuttering and the effective treatment to alleviate or even cure
this disease.
According to the definition provided by World Health Organization (1977), stuttering is disorders in
the rhythm of speech in which the ... Show more content on [Link] ...

only the disorder on verbal speaking but also the mental problems of people who stutter. Most
development stuttering can be spontaneously recovered while psychogenic stuttering which is

with George VI, using speech therapy and some other treatments, speech therapist named Lionel
Logue helped George VI to awaken up his good self awareness and reduce the anticipatory anxiety.
George VI accepted the limit and restriction of his life and recognized himself more clearly. The
