John Ford s The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance black and white film tells the story of a killing of
a man that helped a town progress and become civilized. The film begins when a young quixotic
man fresh out of law school from the East, moves to a western town called Shinbone without
knowing this town is a wilderness ruled by guns and savages. The optimistic lawyer named Ransom
eventually brings law and order to the town after the local troublemaker is shot. He is then known as

of a town ruled by mayhem with a local ruffian loaded with guns not wanting the town to
progress; a lawyer who realizes he will have to get rid of the ruffian not through law but through a

the differences between the short story and the film, the first difference the reader is able to spot

The thing that set Edward apart from the other people in Ashland, Alabama is that he knew what
he wanted and would do anything to achieve it. He knew he was a big fish trapped in a small
pond. When Edward left Ashland, he wandered through an unnamed town. The town was

The Red Convertible and Women of Hollering Creek , share similar themes about the role of family
and the significance of independence in a mature adult s life.
Two brothers, Henry and Lyman, share an evolving relationship in The Red Convertible, due to
Henry s struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. The war causes Henry to struggle with
his inner thoughts which drive him to carry out uncontrolled actions. This person vs. self conflict
is evident when Lyman describes Henry s unexpected actions while watching tv. Once I was in

blood sample and from there, determine what blood type that translates to. Blood types are
determined by the presence or absence of two antigens, A or B. (Martini) An antigen is a substance

system; they will bind to an antigen and work to remove it from the body. In a bloodsystem, there
are four blood types; A, B, AB and O. Blood typeA contains A antigen and B antibodies, group B
posses the B antigen and the A antibody, AB blood group has A and B antigens but no antibodies
and O group has no antigens, but both A and B antibodies. (Martini) When an opposite blood type is
introduced, it causes agglutination, where clumps form in the blood. (Martini) These clumps form

In my placement, they occupied the classroom called creative room. There are many learning
areas available including art area, book area, music area, quiet area, sensory area, block area, science
area and dramatic area. The classroom also has big kitchen, many windows and a fridge. All leaning
area are open every day. The age range of children is 8 years to 11 years. The group size is 20
