Reputed to be a human, everyone yearn for love. The time when the humans are in love, they

not the enemies. Loveseems hard to understand, but love is a beautiful thing for the life. Humans
can stay on the world because they have love. It can be seen verities poetry that writes about love.

Gerald Ford s President Of The United States

Research Paper
Gerald Ford

What makes a great president? Being the President of the United States is one of the most difficult
positions to be in. And throughout history there has been presidents who faced crisis and made
society a better place, and then there were some who did not live up to their greatest opportunities.
Gerald R. Ford was the 38th President of the United States of America and was considered below
average in all aspects of his presidency including relations with foreign affairs, the economy and
social/political cases in our country. In fact, according to scores based on Fields of History, Law and
Politics, he was ranked as below average. This proves that he was not worthy compared to the levels
of presidents before his time. For the case of discussing Gerald Ford, one of the most important
events of his time as president is how he became one. After going into Republican politics at law
school, he served in the House of Representatives for decades being re elected twelve times. Even
though he has never achieved his main goal of becoming speaker of the House, he was still
supported by many, even including President Richard Nixon. In 1973, Spiro Agnew resigned the
office of Vice President of the United States. When there was no Vice President left, after pleading
no contest to a change of income tax evasion, President Richard Nixon was empowered by the 25th
Amendment to appoint a new Vice President (Library 2). To explain,
Percy Jackson s Greek Gods By Rick Riordan
Summary
The book, Percy Jackson s Greek Gods, is narrated by Percy Jackson. The author, Rick Riordan,
wrote the Greek myths from Percy Jackson s point of view. The first two stories written in this
book were about Perseus and Psyche. The first chapter/story is entitled, Perseus Wants A Hug. It is
the story about a demigod named Perseus, son of Zeus and Danaë. Perseus grandfather, Acrisius,
went to the Oracle of Apollo to find out why he doesn t have any sons. However, Apollo told
Acrisius that there would come a day when Danaë s son will kill him. The prophecy scared Acrisius,
as a result, he locked Danaë in a bronze tower so that she would never marry or have a child.
However, Zeus fell in love with Danaë and Perseus was born. Acrisius
A Clockwork Orange Comparison
A Clockwork Orange is the film adaptation of Anthony Burgess famous novel of the same name,
which was released in 1962, and was directed by Stanley Kubrick. The film narrates the life of the
violent and manipulative protagonist, Alex DeLarge, and his friends. Alex and his friends, Pete,
Georgie, and Dim, commit horrific, demeaning acts of violence, including rape and destruction of
property, simply for the thrill. Once their regular activities become a bore to them, Alexs friends
suggest participating in even worse acts, which completely outrages Alex at the apparent threat to
his power. After Alex reasserts his dominance over his group of criminals with the use of his
words, he decides to prove his dominance with a physical act. This results in Alex murdering a
woman, who was known simply as the Cat Lady, which lands him a 14 year prison sentence, and is
now referred as Prisoner #655321. Even in prison, however, Alex is still a manipulative,... Show

The Importance Of Proper Time Management Towards My Duty
HELEN GOMED S JOURNAL
Week 1
It was a stressful week because it was ANZAC holiday. Usually, the residents were expected to
attend the ANZAC ceremony at 0900. Thus the showering and the cares should be finished
before then. However, the list of residents assigned to me was one of the hardest ones because 8
out of 9 residents on that list were for shower and clothing assistance and I only have 2 hours to
comply. It was quite impossible obviously due to the number of residents to be taking cared of.
Fortunately, I still managed to survive by doing the most probable ones that will attend the
ceremony and do the rest later on. So I had surveyed them and there were 5 residents for priority
cares. And so it became attainable for me to do it. After that, I do not need to hurry because the rest
of my residents will not attend the ceremony anyway. I was able to use proper time management
towards my duty.
Week 2
It was a morning shift and the list of residents that I need to look after were the ones who were very
particular with their timings. For example, one resident would like to be showered first, the other
one needs his food at 0900H, the other one needs to be showered at 0830H. Every little detail
should be noted and carried out. I should be aware of my time or else they will scold at me or
worst, complain to the management. Not only that, I was assigned to look after 10 residents at that
time, which was a very heavy workload.
What I did then was I constantly watched my time and
Treatment Plan For John s Depression
This paper will discussion John s background, work environment and relationships with family. It
will explain the interview process, behavioral observations, level of depression, and angry. It will
also exploring how John s depression has led to his drinking problem and what form of treatment
would be best suited to reach John s goals of freeing himself of depression and anger, so he can
live a happy life. Treatment Plan for John s Depression John is a married man, who serves in the
military service. It was Jon s wife who encouraged John to seek counseling. John is having
difficulty dealing with his life, he feels it s worthless. He has no motivation to stop jeopardizing
his job or marriage, even though he is aware that his actions are causing complications in both his
work performance and in his marriage. John toured in Iraq, and decided two months ago that he
no longer wanted to be affiliated with the military service, because of stories he heard about the
deaths related to wars in Iraq. When he returned home from his tour six months ago, he was happy
to be home, but slowly started losing motivation to go to work. He started showing up late, and not
fulling his duties at work. His wife is at this point tired of John s behavior and advised him to seek
therapy. Unstructured Interview An unstructured interview would be most appropriate in John s
situation because it allows flexibility in establishing rapport with him (Jones, 2010, p. 1). It also
allows the counselor to
Anderson s No-Blinking
For the light a scene assignment it was decided to recreate the lighting from a scene in Paul Thomas
Anderson s: The Master . The infamous No Blinking scene focuses on the processing of Freddy
Quell (Joaquin Phoenix) by The Master (Phillip Seymour Hoffman). It mimics the style of an
interegation with its minimal lighting, which may appear as simple yet extremely effective in
creating a ominous atmosphere throughout the scene.

The No Blinking scene is extremely similar to an interrogation and this is refelcted in the lighting
(See Fig 1).To create this feeling the scene relies upon lighting empahises on the face contrasted
with the heavy shadows in the background (See Fig 2 3). Overall, with this lighting this focus is

The allure of the scene was that the lighting in the scene placed strong emphasis on the face yet it
was so heavily contrasted against the background of the scene. However, recreating the lighing
did prove to be more challanging than expected. A single LED light was placed to the subjects
side but it was noticed that only one side of the fact was lit, while the other side was in complete
shadows. Compared to the refrence scene it was noticed that while the actor did have one side
that was in shade, there is a slight hitting the side of the nose and cheenk. While a fill light was
considered, it was ultimately decided to use a bouncer to relect the existing LED light to the side
of the face. As the results from the use of a bouncer created a visually striking light on the subject,
it was also deciced to incoporate the use of a second bouncer (See Fig 5 8). With this one, the
LED light was faced the opposite direction to the subject onto a bouncer, which relfected the light
back onto the subject (See Fig 9). Ulimately, with the use of a single LED light and two bouncers,
the No Blinking scene from Paul Thomas Andersons The Master was able to be successfully
recreated (See Fig
What Is The Theme Of The Royal Game
The Royal Game by Stefan Zweig
Zweig, an outstanding writer and a psychologist, used his accumulation of knowledge along with
his skills of observing people, in order to write his last novella, The Royal Game. In this book,

Symptoms And Treatment Of Infants
Some might wonder, well what exactly is skin to skin contact after birth? Skin to skin contact is
basically when the newborn is placed in their mother s arms or belly and left there. Once left there
the newborn usually finds its way to the breast to be breast feed. Research has shown that
newborns tend to be more alert within the first two hours of life. When a healthy naked newborn is
placed in skin to skin contact at birth, it uses its senses to set a course and eventually will find and
attach itself to the breast. All healthy babies should be dried and placed naked on the mother s chest
for skin to skin contact immediately after birth, and held there in a peaceful environment until the
infanthas made contact with the breast. This... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also it allows the baby to be colonized by the same bacteria as the mother, which is thought to be
important in the prevention of allergic diseases. Having skin to skin contact also helps the infant
receive colostrums from its mother leading to a good start of hormone balance, attachment, and local
immune protection and feeding.
Skin to skin contact has a big benefit for breastfeeding. For example, infants who receive contact
with their mothers right after birth show early establishment of effective breastfeeding and longer
duration of breastfeeding. A Cochrane review of eight studies showed that mothers who had skin to
skin contact were twice as likely to still be breastfeeding at one to three months as those who did not
have contact. The amount of contact between the mother and their baby during the first two hours
can influence the duration of breastfeeding. The study also showed that infants were suckling at the
breast at fifty minutes after birth. A newborns skin and hands has the same scent as the mother s
breast, which makes it easier for the infant to find the breast. So it is recommended not to wash the
mother s breast or the infant s hands prior to the first feeding because it can interfere with the
breastfeeding. Another study conducted in a hospital found that mothers who breastfeed their
infants kept their babies with them for an average of a hundred minutes longer each day than
mothers who did not breast feed in the first hour, this lead to

only means power was sent to close the valve, this is the first human error) The feed pump that had

Essay on the Selfish Mrs. Mallard in Kate Chopin s The...
Selfish Mrs. Mallard in The Story of an Hour

Kate Chopin s story, The Story of an Hour, may seem to be about Mrs. Mallard s unexpected and
ironic reactions to the news of her husband s untimely death due to a railroad disaster. At least that s
what I thought when I read the story. It seemed to me that she led a normal life with a normal
marriage. She had a stable home life with a kind, loving husband who cared for her. She seemed to
love him, sometimes. She had some kind of heart trouble (Chopin 25) that didn t really affect her
physically, until the very end. I thought Mrs. Mallard would have been saddened and filled with
grief for an adequate period of time after her spouse died, but her grief passed quickly, and she ...

One of my observations that I want to point out is that the author says she went away to her room
alone. Why couldn t it be to their room? This may be an example of Mrs. Mallard being a selfish
person, a bit possessive that is.

I think Mrs. Mallard had always wanted a life of her own. It was like a secret she kept to herself.
However, she couldn t have that life to herself with her husband around. A section of the story
describes the scene and events that take place when Mrs. Mallard is in her room alone. She sobs
occasionally and allows the grief to pass as she embraces the new beginning of her life. I believe
her husband loved her but I think that her husband s death opened a door to a new life for her that she
had hoped for. She sees a view from the window that maybe symbolizes what she wanted in this
new life of hers. The following passage describes it:

There was something coming to her and she was waiting for it, fearfully . . . But she felt it,
creeping out of the sky, reaching toward her through he sounds, the scents, the color that filled the
air. . . She was beginning to recognize this thing that was approaching to possess her . . . When
she abandoned herself a little whispered word escaped her lightly parted lips. She said it over and
over under her breath: Free, free, free! (Chopin 26)

How could she be so selfish and already be thinking about what her life was going to be like now
that her husband was dead? But to her
BTK Story
BTK: The Story Abstract Dennis Lynn Rader was born to Dorothea Mae and William Elvin
Rader on March 9, 1945. Otero was found murdered in his home alongside three of his family
members. Joseph Otero s wife was beaten, choked and bound before Rader killed her. Rader s
next BTK victim was a 21 year old named Kathryn Bright. Similarly to Rader s first set of
victims, she had been bound with a cord, somewhat clothed and had been choked and stabbed
numerous times. Rader s last two victims were 28 year old Vicki Wegerle, and 62 year old
Dolores Davis. Rader s killing spree had come to a halt shortly after his last two victims, Vicki

Next, there was 25 year old Nancy Fox. It was reported that Fox had been strangled at her home
with her own stockings. Rader also left his famous fingerprint on her body, which was partially
clothed and strangled with a telephone cored. Marine Hedge, who lived on the same street as
Rader, was reported missing by her loved ones back in April of 1985. Investigators found her
body eight days later on an abandoned road. Hedge had been strangled, and then chocked with a
pair of women s pantyhose. Hedge was 53. Rader s last two victims were 28 year old Vicki
Wegerle, and 62 year old Dolores Davis. Wegerle s husband discovered her strangled body in bed.
Wegerle was abducted from her hometown in January of 1991 and found thirteen days later
underneath a bridge. Davis had been strangled, and her feet, knees, and hands were all bound
with pantyhose. Rader s killing spree had come to a halt shortly after his last two victims, Vicki
Wegerle, and Dolores Davis. In 2004 the investigation became interesting after Rader sent an
anonymous letter to the authorities, declaring accountability for a killing that had not formerly
been recognized as the work of the BTK killer. Investigators took DNA samples from underneath
the victim s fingernails. DNA tests started soon afterwards along with hundreds of male samples of
DNA in hopes of finding the serial killer. Overall, around 1,300 samples of DNA were acquired then
