Selecting Port for PLC


 Click on the Settings button, and a dropdown menu
will appear. From the dropdown options, select "PLC
COM Manager" to open the communication
management settings for the PLC.

 After selecting "PLC COM Manager" from the


Settings menu, the PLC Communication Settings
interface will appear. This interface allows you to
configure the communication between the system and
the PLC.
Key Configurations in PLC COM Manager:
 Select COM Port – Choose the correct COM port where
the PLC is connected.
 Set Baud Rate – Configure the baud rate to match the
PLC's communication speed.
 Parity, Stop Bits, and Data Bits – Adjust these
settings according to the PLC requirements.
 Response Timeout (s) – Set the maximum time (in
seconds) the system should wait for a response from
the PLC before considering the communication failed.
 Inter-frame Timeout (s) – Define the time gap (in
seconds) between consecutive data frames to ensure
proper communication without overlap.
 Save Settings – After setting the parameters, click the
Save Settings button to confirm the changes.

 Once the PLC is successfully connected, you can


proceed with testing and further operations.

Selecting Ports for OPTICAL and CAMERAS


 Click on the Settings button, then from the dropdown
menu, select "Opto COM Manager". This will open the
configuration interface where you can select and
manage the optical communication and camera ports
for the system.

 After selecting "Opto COM Manager" from the Settings


menu, the Opto Communication Settings interface will
appear. This interface allows you to configure the
communication between the system and the Opto device.

Key Configurations in Opto COM Manager:


 Select COM Port – Choose the correct COM port where
the Opto device is connected.
 Select Camera Port – Choose the correct USB port where
the camera is connected.
 Set Baud Rate – Configure the baud rate to match the
Opto device’s communication speed.
 Parity, Stop Bits, and Data Bits – Adjust these settings
according to the Opto device's requirements.
 Response Timeout (s) – Set the maximum time (in
seconds) the system should wait for a response from the
Opto device before considering the communication failed.

Switching Between Meters

 Select Meter – You can choose the desired meter using


the segmented button for Meter 1, Meter 2, Meter 3,
or Meter 4.

 Configure Individual Settings – Each meter has its own


communication settings, including COM Port, Baud Rate,
Parity, Stop Bits, and Data Bits.
 Save All Settings – After configuring the settings for all
four meters, click the Save All Settings button to confirm
and apply the changes.
NOTE: Don’t Change Camera USB Port without the
supervisor.

Selecting the Test cases to Run (Supervisor


and above)
 Click on the Edit button to open a dropdown menu.
From the options available, select "Procedures" to
view and make changes to the procedure settings.

 You will see a list of available procedures. To edit a


procedure, select the one you want, and press Enter.
You can also double-click on the procedure to open it for
editing.

Select/Unselect the status of the Testcases


 To run a procedure, you must first select the status
checkbox and then click the Update button before
saving the changes by clicking the Save button.
 Additionally, each procedure may have default values,
as well as minimum and maximum limits for certain
parameters. Ensure that the values entered are within
the allowed range to prevent errors and maintain
proper functionality.

Insert a new Test case


 To add a new Test case to the existing list, follow these
steps:
1. Open Parameter Name Dropdown – Click on
the Parameter Name dropdown menu to select
the appropriate parameter for the new Testcase.
2. Click on Insert – After selecting the parameter,
click the Insert button to add the new Testcase to
the list.
3. Save the Changes – Finally, click the Save
button to confirm and apply the new Testcase to
the list.

Update an existing Test case:


 If you want to update a specific parameter, follow
these steps:
1. Select the Parameter – Choose the parameter
you want to update from the list.

2. View Existing Values – The current values of the


selected parameter will appear in the input fields
above.
3. Edit the Values – Modify the values as needed,
keeping in mind the default values, minimum
limits, and maximum limits for the parameter.
Ensure that the new values fall within the allowed
range to maintain system integrity.

4. Click on Update – After making changes, click the


Update button to apply the modifications.
5. Save the Changes – Finally, click the Save
button to confirm and store the updated
parameter.

 NOTE: MAKE SURE TO CLICK ON SAVE BUTTON


AFTER EVERY CHANGE.
 Note: To delete a parameter from the table,
contact the Admin.

Creating a New Test Procedure (Above


Supervisor).
 Click on the Edit Button – Open the settings by
clicking the Edit button and selecting the
"Procedures" option from the dropdown menu.

 View Available Procedures – A list of all existing


procedures will be displayed.

 Click on the Insert Button – To create a new


procedure, click the Insert button. This will open a
form.

 Enter the Procedure Name – Type the name of the


new test procedure in the provided field and click the
Add to List button.
 Confirm Addition – The newly added procedure will
now appear in the list above.
 Add or Edit Testcases – To define testcases for the
new procedure, follow Update an existing Test case
Steps, where you can insert or modify test cases as
needed.

Generating the Report


 Click on the Reports Button – Open the report by
clicking the Reports button and selecting the "Report"
option from the dropdown menu.

 After clicking the Search button, the filtered records


will be displayed in the table below.

 You can review the [Link], Meter ID, PCBA ID, Meter
Type, Procedure Type, Parameters Name,
Execution Date, Final Status, Customer Name,
Logged User ID, WorkStation ID, and Test ID
before downloading.

 Ensure the data is correct and matches your


requirements before proceeding to download.
 Download the Report (Excel Format) – Click the
Download button (Green) to export the filtered data.
The report will be downloaded in Excel (.xlsx) format,
which can be opened in Microsoft Excel

Running the Functional Test (Automatic)


 Click on the Run Button – Start the function test by
clicking the Run button.

 View Available Procedures – A list of all available


procedures will be displayed.

 Select a Procedure – Choose the procedure you want


to run and either:
1. Click on the Enter button, or
2. Double-click on the procedure to start it
immediately.
Important Note – Ensure that the PLC COM port is
correctly saved before running the test. This step is
required only if you have recently changed the CPU port.
 Proceed with Testing – Once selected, the test
interface will appear, allowing the function test to run
automatically.

 Continue with FT Process – After this step, you can


proceed with the Function Test (FT) process by
placing the meters in the ZIG to begin testing.
Resetting the Meter Count

 If you want to reset the count of Meter Tested. Click on


the Reset Count Button above. (This is for Supervisor
and Above Authority)

 If you enter this password and click on submit. The
Count will be reset.

Running the Functional Test (Manual)

For supervisor it will ask for password(sup@manual).

 Click on RunM button you will see the above interface.

 This interface will open. The Process will start if you


click on the start test button.
Resetting the Meter Count
 If you want to reset the count of Meter Tested. Click on
the Reset Count Button above. (This is for Supervisor
and Above Authority)
 It will open a pop-up that asks for
password(sup@reset).
 If you enter this password and click on submit. The
Count will be reset.
NOTE: TO CLOSE THIS INTERFACE, CLICK ON CLOSE
BUTTON AT THE TOP ONLY.

Requirements
To open the software, you need a Ethernet or Wifi
connection that the Main Server is Connected to.

 Click on the PLC Commands button above.


 It will the open the above interface.
Note: Make sure that the PLC COM port is saved
before opening this interface.
 Note: Don’t click on Two different operation buttons
simultaneously. Wait until a process is completed before
starting the next operation.

 Check if the Meter is already tested previously.
 If already tested. It will show the following pop-up

 If clicked on no, the process will terminate


 If clicked on yes, the process will continue, and the
meter will be tested again
Verify Product Stage
 It will check if the production traveller value is set as
pass or not.
 If not pass, then the process will terminate
 If passed, the next steps will be tested
Verify DLMS and Meter FW versions
 Checks the Meter Firmware and DLMS Firmware
versions of the meter and compared them with the
reference values.
 If they are matched. Then the test is passed else failed.
Communication Test on Battery
 Powers of the Meter and Reads the voltage if the
voltage is zero then the test is passed else it’s failed
 After the above process is completed, the meter will be
powered on again

Relay Circuit Test


 Checks the Power of the meter in Disconnect and
Connect Stage of the meter.
 In this step, it will show a pop-up to check the Current
Directions on the display.
 If the direction is reverse, then we must click on NO
Button and process terminates.
 If the direction is correct, then we click on YES and next
tests will continue.

Case Tamper Test


 Will activate the CASE tamper cylinder of the PLC and
measure the case tamper count.
 The count should be non-zero for the meter to be
considered as PASS.
SET Meter RTC
 Writes the RTC value to the current system time.
Main Battery Voltage Test
 Measures the Battery voltage and checks if it is greater
than the reference value.

RTC Battery Voltage Test


 Currently this step is not checking any value

Push Button Test


 Activates the PUSH button cylinder the number of times
equal to save as the reference value.
 After that, we must check the ALL SEGEMENT display is
correct or not
 If correct, we must click on YES on the pop-up and the
process will continue
 If it’s not correct click on NO and the process will stop.

RTC Drift Test


 Measures the RTC value of the meter and check if it is
with in the drift range set previously.
 If within range, then pass else fail.

Live Feed
 Display video will keep on working as long the camera
ports attached to the CPU are not interchanged.
 Even after interchanging, we can make it work. But
need to do some adjustments from the GUI.
Automatic Workstation ID name change from PMP to
FRS
 For FT done in system with name INCCUPC205 it is
showing the system ID as FNTS-1 in FRS.
