6. Accidental release measures
After spillage/leakage/gas leakage:
Large spillages should be dammed−off and pumped into containers; soak
up remainder with absorbent material and dispose of in accordance
with local regulations. Suitable materials: sand, Kieselgur.
7. Handling and storage
Handling
Protection against fire and explosion:
If exposed to fire keep containers cool by spraying with water.
Ignitable air mixtures can form when the product is heated above the
flash point and/or when sprayed or atomized.
It is recommended that all conductive parts of the machinery are
earthed.
Explosion−proof equipment is not necessary when loading and
processing of the product takes place at a minimum of 5’C below the
flash point.
Storage:
Store under air. Protect from light.
Storage temperature: max. 35’C
Storage time: max. 6 months
Inhibitor only effective in the presence of the following: oxygen
Not allowed: store under inert gas, nitrogen
8. Exposure controls and personal protection

Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory protection: If gases/vapours are formed
Hand protection: protective gloves
Eye protection: frame goggles
General safety and hygiene measures:
Avoid contact with skin. Avoid inhalation of vapour.
