have an amazing race between each group. So basically, naay dagko nga
price nag gahulat ninyong tanan at the end of the finish line with additional

sir na if ma finish ninyo Ang race, you will have plus points for the subject.
So, I want you all to participate And have fun with the race.

So maghatag nalng ko gamay nga instructions, basically Ang mahitabo is

that you will go to different stations, you need to find your way to it. Each
station will give you a puzzle piece and you must pass all the station to get
the puzzle pieces. There are 5 station, the first to fourth station is where you
collect the puzzle pieces. The 5th station is the last station that you must go,
after you gathered all the puzzle pieces in each 1-4 station. That's all for my
opening remarks, I want you all to do your best and enjoy the race.

Emcee : Thank you Mr. Jovan Robenta for that opening remarks and
instructions. But before ta mag sugod, let us have our yell contest. So we will
give 3 minutes to create a yell and we will call you one by one.

Amazing Race Flow

Station 1 – Taking Vital signs (Mastery Experience)

- The team will arrange the steps in taking vital signs (TPRBP). The
station has 4 levels, first is arranging the steps in taking the
Temperature, then the RR, Pulse and blood pressure. After clearing the
first level, the steps that are correctly arrange, are again randomly put
together, until they reach level three. (Kibale, after na arrange Ang
temperature, dugangan ug Respiratory, pero isambog sila duha, so
balikon nasad ug taod Ang steps sa temperature). Then after clearing
all 4 levels, they will then perform it together as a team in order to
pass the station.

Lesson of the Challenge (script)

Guard: “Now before mo maka pass mangutana ko. Unsa Gani Ang self
efficacy? (Let the team answer, you can lick who can n answer) So basically,
self efficacy is the confidence of one’s ability to perform such task or action.
Ang inyong na experience ganina is called Mastery Experience. Mastery
experience is one of the source of self efficacy. The more nato buhaton Ang
isa ka butang, the more nga mo increase atong self efficacy or confidence na
mabuhat na sya. Bali ganina, inyong gi arrange first Kung unsa Ang steps sa
pagtake sa temperature. Sa pinakauna ga lisod pa mog arrange, then after
ninyo na correct, gi sambog nasad namo then gi dugangan ug unsaog pa
take sa PR. Now sa ika duha nga arrange ninyo sa temperature, mas na
paspas na ninyo. Confident namo nga ma arrange ninyo ug sakto Ang steps
sa pagkuha sa temperature. Inana ang effect sa mastery experience sa self
efficacy!! “

Station 2 – Taking BP (Vicarious Experience)

- The team is in a one line and asked to turn about face. The first person
then is instructed to arrange the steps in taking Blood pressure. The
guard (gabantay sa station), will then check if it is correct and, the first
person will show the correct steps in taking the BP, without speaking,
to the second person, while the third person watches the first and
second person successfully perform the task. The second person then
will show how to do it to the third person while the fourth person
watches them do the task, and so on and so forth, until all of them
performs it. (If nay isa sayop, balik sa first person)

Lesson of the Challenge (Script)

Guard: “Unsa Gani Ang self efficacy? (Let the team answer, you can pick who
can answer) So, basically Ang nahitabo dinhi is called Vicarious Experience.
Ang vicarious experience is one of the source of self efficacy or confidence
nga mahimo nato Ang isa ka butang, since nakaya man sa uban. Dire
maapply Ang saying nga, “Kung Kaya sa uban, Kaya pud nako”. It is the
belief that you can do the task by seeing others succeed in it. So ganina,
nafeel ninyo nga kaya ninyo I perform Ang task since nakita man ninyo
inyong kauban nga ni succeed ug perform sa BP. Mas ning confident mo nga
mabuhat ninyo to nga butang Kay inyong kauban nabuhat man Nila.”

Station Three – Breaking the egg (Verbal Persuasion) – The team will have a
one representative to break the egg. The representative is then blindfolded
by the guard. The other team members will then instruct their representative
upon where the egg might be. They will win the challenge if they successfully
break the egg.

Lesson of the Challenge (Script)

Guard: “Unsa Gani Ang self efficacy? (Let the team answer, you can pick who
can answer) So basically, self efficacy is the confidence of one’s ability to
perform such task or action. Ganina, inyong na experience Ang isa sa mga
sources sa Self efficacy, which is Verbal Persuasion. Verbal Persuasion in
simple words is the environmental voices that persuades one to do or not to
do such action. It shows ka ganina nga the voices nga ga paligid sa imo, ka
actually effect your self efficacy or confidence nga buhaton Ang isa ka
butang. Ganina Ang inyong representative, inyong gi instructionan ug
various command in order to successful break the egg. The more na gina
encourage ninyo sya nga ibunal Ang stick, the more likely nga na confident
sya nga buhaton inyong gi ingon. Mao na Ang proof nga Ang confidence or
self efficacy nato can be influenced by what others say to us.”

Station 4 – Swift and Sound (Psychological feedback) – the team is asked to

pass in a small narrow passage (dapat dungan), full of tables and chairs,
without a sound, (Bali moagi sila sa tunga sa mga tables ug chairs, nga dli
motingog Ang table ug chair, if motingog, ipa balik sila).

There are two level of this challenge, first the team is instructed to perform
the challenge in under 30 seconds. Ideally, they will fail this stage.

The second level, is they are given no time limit and asked to just enjoy the
game. (Lesson time dayn Kung unsa maka effect and stress sa self efficacy.)

Lesson of the Challenge (Script)

Guard: “Unsa Gani Ang self efficacy? (Let the team answer, you can pick who
can answer). So basically, self efficacy is the confidence of one’s ability to
perform a task or action. Now karon ako nasad mong pangutanon, unsa
inyong na feel between the first level and second level? (Ideally the team will
answer that they felt pressured in the first level and more relieved in the
second level). Ganina, inyong na experience is called the psychological
feedback. Psychological feedback is one of the source of self efficacy. The
more negative emotions we feel, such us stress and anxiety, the more likely
that we doubt ourselves that we can do the task ahead. But when we are
free from the negative emotions, and instead we feel, joy and calmness, the
more likely we increase our belief that we can do the task.”
