What Makes RNA Similar To DNA
RNA is very similar to DNA. It resembles a long chain with the links in the chain made up of
individual nucleotides. The nucleotides in RNA also similar to DNA that made up of three
components, which are a sugar, phosphate group, and a nitrogen base. The sugar in RNA is ribose
instead of the more stable deoxyribose in DNA, which helps to make RNAmore flexible and less
durable. In RNA, the bases also come in four chemical forms, and the information in RNA is
encoded in the sequence in which these bases are arrange. The nitrogen bases in RNA include
Adenine (A), Cytosine (C), and Guanine (G), but RNA has Uracil (U) instead of Thymine (T) in
DNA. Cells make RNA messages in a process similar to the replication of DNA. The DNA strands
are pulled
Strong Poison Analysis
In Strong Poison by Dorothy Sayers, there is a multitude of detectives. There is our main
character, the amateur detective Lord Peter Wimsey, and with him there are the people that work
for and with him. Miss Climpson, Bunter and Miss Murchison, these people are the ones that help
him solve the cases. The women that are helping Detective Wimsey are spinsters, who are
equipped with a quick mind and who have no problem sticking their noses where they have no
business being. After World War I there were a lot more spinsters on account of the young men
being killed at war. I want to make the argument that because of his time in the service Lord Peter
Wimseyis a heroic detective, unlike the detectives we have read about up to now.
Looking closely at both Lord Peter Wimsey and the spinster women that are helping him we can
see some of the unnoticable effects that the war had. With Lord Wimsey we can see the effects
that come from being in the war personally. While with the spinster women we get to see the
effects that the war has had back home and on those that were not actually in battle. Lord Peter
Wimsey gives us a noticeably different kind of detective because of this. He is different from the
other detectives that we have read about and talked about in class in that he is not emotionless. His
time in battle has left him with shell shock and anxiety, I think that this causes him to be less of a
logical reasoning detective.
The way that I understand the novel is that it was
Business Intelligence ( Bi )
As Wikipedia s explanation, Business intelligence (BI) is the set of techniques and tools for the
transformation of raw data into meaningful and useful information for business analysis purposes. It
is a solution package, to integrate all the existing data of organizations efficiently, provide accurate
report to support high level managers to make business strategic decision. BI is not a new concept, it
was introduced in 1996 for the first time. As the development of BI is the ETL technologies, ETL

Business Intelligence History

Business intelligence (BI) is the set of techniques and tools for the transformation of raw data into
meaningful and useful information for business analysis purposes. It is a solution package, to
integrate all the existing data of organizations efficiently, provide accurate report to support high
level managers to make business strategic decision.

Trace back to 1865. Cyclopaedia of Commercial and Business Anecdotes, a Richard Millar Devens
work, contains the first known usage of the term Business Intelligence . He uses this word to
describe Sir Henry Furnese, a banker, succeeded: he had an understanding of political issues,
instabilities, and the market before his competitors.

Hans Peter Luhn, an IBM computer scientist published a landmark article, A Business Intelligence
System. In that book Mr Luhn defined Business Analytics, The ability to apprehend the
interrelationships of presented facts in such a way as to guide action towards a desired goal .
Essentially, he point to the core of what BI is: a way to quickly and easily understand huge amounts
of information data so that the best possible decisions can be made. Luhn did more than introduce
and expand the possibilities of a new
Technological Advancements In Aviation
History has been greatly affected throughout the years due to advancements in technologies. One
of the greatest advancements is the creation of the camera. The camera provided vivid images for
the world to view. History was documented for the first time in centuries. Another great
technological advancement would be the airplane. It created a new outlook on transportation and
sparked a new revolution of aviation. By examining modern travel and certain historical events, it
is a given that the camera and the airplane have both tremendously impacted world history. Joseph
Nicephore Niepce was the first person to create what is called the camera. It started off with the
camera obscura; it was a box with a tiny pinhole that projected the camera upside down but was
never a real photograph. In 1826, the world s first photograph was taken by the one and only,
Joseph Nicephore Niepce, he used a process called heliography. As the years went on, the camera

The Wright Brothers came into action when they invented the first plane named ¨Flyer.¨ In 1903
the plane took its first flight in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Ever since that day the evolution of
planes changed places all around the world. Airplanes became the fastest form of travel. They
became an effective tool during the first world war, when they were used as reconnaissance and
later in combat. The type of plane that was being used was called the Propeller plane which had a
fixed wing. In World War I, planes were mainly used to fly over enemy lines, spy on the enemy,
and gather information. During the war, soldiers began strapping bombs and guns to the planes and
used them for combat. In World War II, the Germans invented the jet engine and began putting it on
their planes. The United States followed them, and created a jet powered aircraft. In the 1950s,
rocket engines were created and began being used to put satellites and men into space which began

Insanity Essay
The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success, as Bruce Feirstein would
say. The insane are merely the ones who are not given their chance to change the world. They are,
instead, locked away before society begins to take grip on the ravings of the mad man. Genius, on
the other hand, is what is created when the insane are given their time to speak out. When Renfield
began to address himself to the question he was confronted with, he did so with the utmost
impartiality of the completest sanity. This leads the astute reader to wonder if renfield was, in fact,
completely sane but driven to madness while being locked within the confines of an asylum. Even
the sanest person may have insane tendencies when over... Show more content on [Link] ...
When Renfield was speaking to the men on various subjects, he stated that, I am at least as sane
as the majority of men who are in full possession of their liberties . Which shows that even the
lunatic knows that he is just as the rest of the world, and that he could handle himself in the real
world. Many lunatics could, in fact, be admitted into daily society. Dr. Seward does not know
what it is like to be insane, so he has no way of knowing what makes the insane differ from the
sane. Seward stated that he believes himself and the others insane and that he, expects them all to
wake to sanity in strait waistcoats. To put it simply, only the insane take themselves seriously. That
is the genius showing itself to the world. Seward stated that he was beginning wonder whether or
not his habit of life amongst the insane is beginning to tell upon his own mind. If that be so, he is
gaining a valuable asset in the fight against idiocy. Accepting insanity can create the balance
needed to fully understand the world in a way considered opposite of the rest of society. When Van
Helsing was breaking the ice on the existence of vampires, he mentioned that the teachings and
records provide proof enough for sane peoples. It is as though he is saying that even people that are
completely sane should be able to understand that vampires are, in fact, real. That creates an

Indiana Dunes State Park Research Paper
Indiana Dunes State Park One of Indiana s great state parks is the Indiana Dunes. I have been
going to the Dunes since I was a little kid. It s a fun experience and even a learning experience
because there s so much that makes up the dunes. Ever since I was a kid, I d always remember
running up and down the sand dunes along the beach and swimming in Lake Michigan. I m sure
some of you can even relate to this. One of the sand hills I remember running up is Mt. Baldy at
123 feet tall, the largest sand dune along the southern shores of Lake Michigan ( Indiana Dunes ).
Behind all the fun of the sand dunes, it s interesting to know the geology of the Indiana Dunes State
Park. Lake Michigan is a result of the Ice Age that once occurred about 14,000... Show more content

The list ranges from dry prairies, terrestrial shrublands, wetlands, marshes, bogs, swamps,
savannas, lowland forests, upland forests, to wet prairies. The dry prairies consist of pure
marram grass and sand reed where mice, shrews, and squirrels are found. Terrestrial shrublands is
the area between grass covered dunes and forested dunes where you will find saplings of oak,
basswood, and conifer trees. The area where there s marshes, swamps, and bogs are all known as
wetlands. Savannas also have oak and conifer trees found in them too. This type of habitat is the
breeding grounds for lupine and Karner Blue butterflies. Lowland and upland forests are slightly
different from each other. They each have different types of plants found there. Lastly, wet prairies
have a wide variety of grasses. The thickness of the grass keeps the ground moist and provides
homes for smaller animals. All of these habitats have their own characteristics and helps make up the

Similarities Between Evoking And Evoking
Evoking a diety or a spiritual being is done when we want to call upon an energy or spirit to join
us in a ritual or magickal work. Evoking is only an external involvement with the deity as we just
call upon them or make an offering in the hope that they give their consent and turn up for the
ritual. Evoking, unlike Invoking can be done by new comers to the practice as communing with
God/ Goddess is only through external means. Evoking can be done when I want to do a ritual
and want to ask the help or a spiritual, divine energy for giving their blessings or lending their
energy for the ritual. However unlike Invoking, we can command the energy to leave the circle
when the ritual is done. This is important to do otherwise in this case the energy can do some
little, playful mischief or something bigger eg. I read about a witch and her circle evoking water
spirits during the ritual and they forgot to banish them, and after few hours they saw that area of the
house leaking with water (the water fairies did their mischief) and there was no logical explanation
that how did the knob of the pipes be left... Show more content on [Link] ...
It is also important how to use the process. Evoking is done in a group, and the collective energy
in the group or individual energy of people can affect the ritual. For example, if there are psychic
vampires, parasitic energies in certain people, or even skeptics who are unconsciously lending
their negative vibes in the group. In such a case it is important to know the that Evoking ritual will
fail and you need to be more selective in choosing the people in your circle next time. Evoking is a
very personal process and the intent and purpose if the people doing the ritual will affect the
conclusion of the

Descartes Myth-Gilbert Ryle
Gilbert Ryle s The Concept of Mind
Gilbert Ryle (1900 76) was a philosopher who taught at Oxford and who made important
contributions to the philosophy of mind and to ordinary language philosophy. His most important
writings included Philosophical Arguments (1945), The Concept of Mind (1949), Dilemmas (1954),
Plato s Progress (1966), and On Thinking (1979).
The Concept of Mind (1949) is a critique of the notion that the mind is distinct from the body, and it
is a rejection of the theory that mental states are separable from physical states. According to Ryle,
the classical theory of mind, as represented by Cartesian rationalism, asserts that there is a basic
distinction between mind and matter. However, the classical theory makes a ... Show more content on

Thus, the mind consists of various abilities or dispositions that explain such behaviors as learning,
remembering, knowing, feeling, or willing. However, personal abilities or dispositions are not the
same as mental processes or events. To refer to abilities or dispositions as if they are mental
occurrences is to make a basic kind of category mistake.
The nature of a person s motives may be defined by the actions and reactions of that person in
various circumstances or situations. The nature of a person s motives in a particular situation may
not necessarily be determined by any hidden mental processes or intellectual acts within that person.
Motives may be revealed or explained by a person s behavior in a situation.
Ryle criticizes the theory that the mind is a place where mental images are apprehended, perceived,
or remembered. Sensations, thoughts, and feelings do not belong to a mental world distinct from the
physical world. Knowledge, memory, imagination, and other abilities or dispositions do not reside
within the mind as if the mind were a space in which these dispositions could be situated or located.
Furthermore, dispositions are not the same as behavioral actions; actions may, however, be
explained by dispositions.
Dispositions are neither visible nor hidden, because they are not in the same logical category as
behavioral actions. Dispositions are not mental processes or intellectual
John D. Rockefeller
Introduction John D. Rockefeller was born on July 8, 1839, and has had a huge impact on the course
of American history. His reputation spans from being a ruthlessly powerful businessman to an
intelligent philanthropist. He came from a family with not much and lived the American dream,
rising to success with his own genius, all by himself. His legacy is unforgettable, gaining the
greatest wealth of anyone in history. Rockefeller s influence on America has been both a positive
and a negative one. He revolutionized the petroleumindustry and donated huge amounts of money to
various institutions. Although Rockefeller had many positive effects to this country, he also had
many negative ones as well, such as gaining his wealth by creating an illegitimate monopoly that
often grew by using illegal methods, by giving American s (and the rest of the world) a reason to
dislike capitalism, and by damaging small businesses. Part 1
One positive effect of John D. Rockefeller was that he donated huge amounts of money to various
institutions. During his life, Rockefeller donated 540 million dollars. Most of his donations were
given after leaving Standard Oil, the oil company that he founded, that quickly became the largest
oil factory in the world. He donated to churches, colleges, and to hospitals. Rockefeller s son,
Frederick Gates, who appointed by Rockefeller himself, was put in charge of giving out these
donations. These donations helped many people and also made America a better
Reflection On Pianos 4 Hands At Neptune Theatre
I went to go see 2 Pianos 4 Hands at Neptune Theatre on March 6th; I have attached the ticket and
the program. I was impressed overall with the vocal performance but there were a few things that
I noticed. The breath support was diaphragmatic for the most of the play but I did notice some
upper chest breathing in Richard Todd Adams, who played Ted. I only noticed this when he was
downstage and delivering his speech. Bryce Kulak, who played Richard, seemed to be breathing
diaphragmatically the whole time. The sound quality was all over the place with both actors but it
was clearly a characterchoice. When the actors were switching between different characters they
added glottal attacks to show the harshness of their character. When there was a particularly strict
teacher, extra glottal attacks were added and when they were playing children their voice seemed
to have more of a soft quality. One of the things I really admired about this show was how the
actors used every part of their voice. They used techniques that would normally be considered bad
habits or could be potentially harmful for the voice but being at the end of the run I could not detect
any strain on their voices, which means that they are supporting all the work, they are doing. When
Mr. Kulak was playing a woman his pitch went up, and then it went back too his center... Show more

There were a lot of musical terms but I don t think this limited their audience to just music savvy
people. It switched between dialogue and monologue but for the most part the story was
communicated through dialogue. There were virtually no directed addresses to the audience. Asides
were communicated merely with looks. There were tonnes of accents in this show as stated above.
Some examples of them were Canadian, British, Italian and French. In summation this was a
wonderful play performed superbly. The two clearly knew what they were doing in terms of voice
