Disadvantages Of Bandwidth
Bandwidth is another name for data transfer rate. Data transfer rate means the how long it takes for
information/documents and other things to be transferred from one place to another. If your internet
bandwidth isn t as fast as you would like It to be then this could affect how your internet works in a
bad way.

Not just the internet will be affected but all the other things on the computer will be damaged

the user will not be able to do anything. The virus can corrupt the user s emails and all their private

Justice In Aeschylus s Oresteia
Eumenides , the third and final piece in Aeschylus s Oresteia trilogy, resumes the tale where
Choephoroe left it as Orestes is pursued by the vengeful Erinyes. The primary plot point in
Eumenides is the judgement Orestes undergoes for his act of matricide, and the conflicting ideas
of justice provided by the various parties that are associated with it. Topic In Eumenides , the best
idea of justice Argument is Athena s Reason because her lack of a personal stake in the matter
allows her to give a truly fair solution to the situation. (topic) The Erinyes do not have the best idea
of justice because, as they have a personal stake in the matter, they twist their ideals to fit the
situation and lean it in their favor. (point) Their manipulated... Show more content on [Link]

(point) When Orestes and the Erinyes cannot resolve their disagreements on their own, they turn
to Athena, who chooses to establish a court of justice that will resolve the trial of bloodshed as
well as provide protection in the future for her village, demonstrating the first and only sound
idea of justice in the entire piece. (evidence) People of Athens, hear my ordinance / At this first
trial for bloodshed. Evermore / This great tribunal shall abide in power....I establish / This great
tribunal to protect my people, (Aeschylus 362). (explanation 1) In this statement, Athena officially
declares the creation of a court of justice that will solve the current issue of bloodshed as well as
abide in power from then on to protect her people. (ex 2)The creation of this court, which is not
only created by a party impartial to the issue but also composed of neutral judges, is a solution
equally fair to all parties, unlike those proposed by the Erinyes or Apollo. (ex 3) Thus, Athena is
the only character who demonstrates a reasonable idea of justice, and it is consequentially the best
idea of justice found in the piece. (transition) Thanks to this idea of justice, the issue was finally
resolved and the piece was able to avoid a tragic
Reduce Verbal Abuse
Intention to Reduce Verbal Abuse Towards Adolescent In America alone, from surveys taken;
researchers found out that 50 out of 90% of reported verbal abuse is directed toward
[Link] other 40% is directed towards all other age groups and the remaining 10% are the
adolescent in America who don t experience verbal abuse in their home (The Brown University
Child Adolescent Psychopharmacology).
A social issue is obstacle that many people face and is wrong but seems normal from how often it
occurs. In this case verbal abuse from parents towards adolescent is very common in homes today
and has been on the rise in the past years, yet many cases are unreported leaving verbal abuse an
unaware topic. Depending on the situation, not only ... Show more content on [Link] ...
Dave Pelzer, the author of Help Yourself for Teens Real life Advice for Real Life Challenges
described growing up in an abusive home where his mother was under the influence throughout
every attack (Pelzer 2). Another cause of verbal abuse found in research was mentally ill and
unstable parents. Emma Durocher, for example, was raised by two people, each with several
undiagnosed mental illnesses (Durocher). Even though this cause of abuse isn t as common as
cultural discipline the effects still result the same.
The major causes of verbal abuse found through research is cultural discipline from parents or
guardians. The UNICEF Report: 300 Million Cases Of Violence Against Children Ages 2 To 4
believes violence has a familiar face because it can affect children and adolescents in familiar
places, such as at home, in school, their surroundings and from people they know. In most
countries there is absolutely no difference in the exposure to violence, regardless of
socioeconomic factors, whether they are rich or poor. One reason is that in many cultures
[corporal punishment at school and at home] is perceived as the way to address and implement
discipline. It is accepted and almost dismissed as not being an issue (Cole) . This repeated theme
contributes to the factor of unawareness on verbal abuse towards adolescent and society allowing
abuse to be dismissed and seen as a disciplinary option..

Diffusion Of Altruism Essay
This paper looks at the theories relevant to the diffusion of prosocial behavior as it spreads through
social media. Altruism is delineated from other types of prosocial behavior because it is directly
related to empathy. The two theories of motivation for prosocial behavior are the Empathy Altruism
Hypothesis and Social Exchange Theory. These two motivational states outline the paradox of
altruism, which infers that selfless behavior can provide benefits to those engaging in it. When
looking at the chasm in the Diffusion of Innovation, presented by Everett Rogers, these theories can
be applied in order to accelerate the diffusion across the chasm. Messages that elicit empathic
responses should target the innovators and early adopters. This... Show more content on

The first opinion lies in the Empathy Altruism Hypothesis. This hypothesis, created by Daniel Batson
, studies altruistic behaviors and links their production to empathic concern for others (Batson,
2011). Batson (2011) would argue that prosocial behavior can be elicited from empathic concern,
whereas others have argued there are only self serving processes at work. The alternate opinion
comes from Social Exchange Theory, which applies economic principles to social relationships
(Miller, 2013). As Shari Miller describes in her article from the Salem Press Encyclopedia, social
exchanges happen because people make choices that create maximum benefits and minimize
personal disadvantages (Miller, 2013). When this theory is applied to prosocial behavior as its
primary motivation, the actions can quickly be reduced to social behavior instead. The reductionist
approach of Social Exchange spins the motivations for any social behavior as purely self serving.
While this may be true of some surface level prosocial behavior, there is still the observation that
it can be selflessly motivated. Empathy generated altruism falls directly opposite of reward seeking
prosocial behaviors. These two concepts create a polarization in motivational states. The altruism
paradox, is defined in the Salem Press Encyclopedia of Health as the difference between prosocial
behavior that is self serving and prosocial behavior that is
Discrimination Against Muslims

Muslims. When Trump was elected president, the discrimination against Muslims has grown

The Characteristics Of A Hero In Adam Brown s Fearless
God has a reason for everything in life. Sometimes we do not understand his reasoning, we just
have to stick to his plan and trust that he has put us on the right path. He sends people into your
life to be your hero, to save you. In the novel Fearless, every person that came into Adam Brown s
life, plays the role of a heroin some way. Many people in this novel played the role of a hero, each
in their own unique way. Adam Brown was a Navy SEAL who took great pride in serving his
country. He was a strong, kind hearted, protective, and an all around respectable man who always
had a can do attitude and never gave up on anything or showed weakness about anything.
According to Eric Blehm, Adam did not do anything half speed. He gave a 110% no matter what
he was doing. All of those are great qualities to have and that is what made him astonishing Navy
SEAL. Before Adam could become a Navy SEAL and be a hero to his country, he was a hero to
his family. Adam had one older brother, Shawn, and a twin sister, Manda. Together with their
parents, Janice and Larry, they were a family of five. Adam was always over protective of his twin
sister. According to the author, Adam s protective side would shine when he and Manda would walk
to school. They had to make their way past the middle schoolhandball courts. Any smaller kid
within range would be bombarded with tennis balls. Adam would spread his arms out and side
shuffle, guarding me, keeping me close to him so the balls wouldn t hit

Analysis Of The Book Mississippi By Anne Moody
Young adult literature provides a guidance for young people during their nature and evolution
towards adulthood. Their themes help them deal with problems internally and externally with the
people around them. Their purpose is to push the main character outside of what is comfortable to
them and be honest with who they are and what is the problem they are facing at a young age. The
book chosen for a example of young adult literature is growing up in mississippi by Anne Moody,
this is a historical fictionbook detailing the events of her life in detail. In the novel, Anne comes to
terms what kind of treatment african americans received in mississippi around the 1950 s during her
teenage years. Before she became a teenager the fact that she... Show more content on

If Essie Mae Moody was male instead of female, she would not have the same experience
working, that means doing housework for Ms Burke. If she was male she would have been
working in a labor intensive job like being a steelworker threading nuts in a factory. That is the
type of work that young black males were able to do. As a young girl the she would have never
even gotten a chance to prove she was capable of doing the job because of the times then. Back
then they thought a girl could never last being in a steel factory because of how labor intensive it
was. And also it was thought that a girl could not survive being in the factory because steel is
very poor to machine, meaning it is difficult to remove material from a sample. What that means
steel has to be molded into shapes and as a result workers are faced with extremely high
temperatures. Because of this it was deemed too much for a girl to handle, there are fewer places
to work and it is especially harder if that girl was colored. In 1950 s white families would hire
black women to bring back a memory of having black women During the 1940 s white families
employed black women to do housework. Just like in slave times, african american women would
stay instead the house. Their jobs were to be happy plump black women would were happy to serve
white people. They could not longer own slaves and they thought it was the next best thing having

A Correlation Between Emotion-Focused Coping With Test...
A Correlation Between Emotion Focused Coping With Test Anxiety And Age Motivation can
come from a variety of factors in an individual s life, stress is one of those factors that can have
either a positive or a negative effect (Deckers, 2014; Heiman, 2004). Stress can appear in an
individual through physiological, psychological and behavioural symptoms (Deckers, 2014).
Deckers (2014) conveys that when an individual has a physiological response to stress, it is the
product of hormones creating the symptom in the body, for example, nausea or sweating. In
addition the psychological symptoms representing stress are identified through the level of stability
of an individual s mind and feelings, and can be rated through measures of anxiousness,
nervousness, self confidence, irritability or negativity of emotions (Deckers, 2014). Behavioural
symptoms of stress can be enacted out by an individual through excessive or dysfunctional conduct,
for example, through an increase in consumption of alcohol or caffeine, an intake of drugs, or poor
sleeping habits (Deckers, 2014). Although the symptoms mentioned have an attached negative
stigma, it does not necessarily follow that all encounters with it will result in negativity. Deckers
(2014) explains that stress can be a motivator to a goal: if a problem arises in the pursuit of the goal,
stress can occur, then an individual could be encouraged to overcome the situation to achieve their
goal through coping. Lazarus and Folkman (cited in
King Arthur
King Arthur, was he man of truth or myth? King Arthur was a real person, not just a fictional
character. While many believe that King Arthur was a non fictional character, others feel that he
was a fictional character. This was because there is no written record of a King Arthur in any area
where he was reportedly born or deceased. King Arthurwas real because there many people recall
King Arthur or who have known personal stories of him, his family, and the wars he so bravely
participated in. There are many people who recall King Arthur or know someone he was based off
of. King Arthur was not real because it was not recorded in history that there was ever a King Arthur.
Even though it is argued widely throughout history... Show more content on [Link] ...
There are many places that tell legends and myths of the brave king who once lived there.
Historians have found that Croatia was most likely the burial place of King Arthur. It is also said
that he was a high born military leader by the name of Lucius Artorius Castus, who ruled a century
after the Romans had left. Historians have read into this lead and are now searching the tomb of
the late leader. (Reporter). The location of King Arthur s last battle can be identified as well as
some of the characters, meaning the battle actually happened! Some works of literature record
Arthur not just as a hero, but a tyrant as well. According to Gildas, Arthur is spoken of as a tyrant,
and wholly without heroic qualities, showing that the life was composed before Geoffrey of
Monmouth had thrown a false glamour over this disreputable prince, who generally figures in the
Legends of the Welsh Saints as an egregious bully, with nothing of the White Arthur about him. Just
this one quote explains that King Arthur was real, even if he was not the angel everyone thought he
was. Although the legends state that King Arthur was apart of twelve battles, it is not true. He was
most likely a military leader who did a fantastic job, so people wrote about him and his conquests.
Even now we tend to take something so small and exaggerate it into a magnificent happening. Why
should we suggest our ancestors do differently? King Arthur was said to have been buried in
Ethnographic Fieldwork
For my ethnographic fieldwork, I decided to do my research on the Jewish culture. I interviewed
a friend of mine at her house, which is the field site I decided to work in. To protect her identity I
changed her name to Rebecca. As soon as I got to her house I notice there was a small piece of
metal on the side of her doorpost with hebrew text written on it. I enter the house and she greeted
me and took me to her living [Link] her living room I noticed she had a tray of bite size cookies
for us and a Snapple drink. The cookies were sweet and they did not have strong odor. My friend
wore black slacks a white blouse and a star necklace around her neck. After a while, her brother and
father came in and I noticed they had a little cap on the top of their heads. I asked her questions
about her religion and culture.

Rebecca explained to me that the religion she and her family follow is Judaism. Judaism is the
believe that there is one God who created the heavens and the earth. Their core belief is that God
made a special promise, also known as covenant, with their forefather Abraham to protect them
and blessed them, as long as they follow the commands and laws of God, and faithfully worship
him. Rebecca also explained to me that they considered themselves the chosen people of God,
because out of all the people in the world the Israelites are chosen to receive all of God s blessings.
She also explain to me that for a person to be Jewish they need to come from the
