Reading Engagement and Active Discovery

I. Rationale
Reading is a foundational skill that shapes students’ academic performance and lifelong learning.
Despite the emphasis on literacy, many learners still struggle with comprehension, vocabulary,
and critical thinking. The L.A.N.D.O. READ program aims to strengthen reading skills, develop
a love for books, and empower students to become independent, confident readers.

II. Objectives
1. To improve students’ reading comprehension and fluency across grade levels.
2. To foster a love of reading through engaging and level-appropriate materials.
3. To create a supportive environment that encourages daily reading habits.
4. To track and celebrate student progress in reading development.
5. To involve teachers, parents, and the community in promoting literacy.

III. Target Participants
