Kant And Analytic Propositions
In Philosophy Analytic synthetic distinction is a conceptual distinction of statements or
propositions. A statement or proposition is a content of a sentence that accepts or denies something.
There are two types of propositions introduced by Kant one is analytic proposition and other is
synthetic proposition. Analytic propositions are true by definition and the predicate concept is
present in the subject. Synthetic propositions are true by experience and the predicate concept is not
present in the subject.
Examples of analytic propositions:
1. Bachelors are unmarried men
In the above proposition the predicate that is unmarried men is present in the definition of Bachelors
2. Square have four equal sides
In the above proposition having four ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Acoording to Carnap analytic statement is true is it is only logically true and self contradictory if
logically false. Otherwise any statement is synthetic. He introduced two notions: L true and L false.
If L true is considered if the statement s truth is depends on semantic rule. L false is considered if the
statements negation is L true. Analytic statement is L determined that is the statement can be either
L true or L false. Synthetic statement is if the statement is not L determined that is the statement is
neither L true nor L false.
Quine in the paper the two dogmas of empiricism denied the distinction of analytic and synthetic and
argued that there are no analytic truths. Quine has given two classes of statements.
1. No unmarried man is married
The above sentence is true by interpretation of man and married and if logical particles no , un and
is have meaning in ordinary English.
2. No bachelor is married
The above sentence can be turned in to logical truth by putting synonym for synonyms. The second
sentence can be changed to first sentence by exchanging synonym (bachelor) with synonym
(unmarried man). To say this sentence is analytic we have to find whether man is synonymous with
rational animal by empirically and this is very difficult to test empirically by linguistic usage. So,
this second class of sentence has lack of characterisation according
Chaucer s Influences

English 12 2nd period

Chaucer s Influence Through Writing Geoffrey Chaucer wrote multiple books, but his most famous
writing is the Canterbury Tales . In the Canterbury Tales , Chaucer wrote about pilgrims going on a
pilgrimage to the Canterbury cathedral. The pilgrims were very diverse, ranging from monks and
nuns to doctors and knights. Each pilgrim had a tale to tell while traveling to the cathedral, and
through these tales, Chaucer identified multiple problems that were common during his era. Chaucer
was a very harsh critic, but hid it behind comical sarcasm. People say Chaucer even made an
influence on a few things through his writing. Chaucer was influential on women s rights, church
reform, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Chaucer used the Wife of Bath s tale to explain the flaws in marriage, and many problems for
women. The wife of bath was someone people could connect with and was considered, An
outspoken champion of her sex against the traditional antifeminism of the church, initiates a series
of tales about sex, marriage, and nobility ( Chaucer, Geoffrey, par.10). Stating how the wife of
bath was the character that Chaucer used to influence multiple things, including marriage. In the
Canterbury Tales there are multiple cases of love, including cases in which seduction is involved.
One person summed up these events as, After the Knight s courtly and philosophical romance
about noble love, the Miller interrupts with a deliciously bawdy story of seduction aimed at the
Reeve; the Reeve takes revenge with a tale about the seduction of a miller s wife and daughter. (
Chaucer, Geoffrey, par. 10). The summary shows how women were used for mainly sex, and if
their virginity was taken before they were married, they were looked down upon. Chaucer made it
clear he disliked the way marriage worked, and influenced people through his characters
Rembrandt Jerome In His Study
The Baroque From 1600 1750 the world shifted from Renaissance art to a new period, the
Baroque. This art combined the technique, skill, and grand scale of the Renaissance with the
emotion and intensity of Mannerism. Not only were artistic geniuses produced but art expanded
into everyday life as well. Religious scenes and figures continued to become more realistic and
human looking. Artists began painting everyday scenes full of everyday people. Even portraits
became more lively and exciting. Three pieces of art exemplify this period, The Nightwatch , The
Kitchenmaid , and St. Jerome in His Study . Representing Baroqueart first is Rembrandt van Rijn s
The Nightwatch . This painting shows a captain giving his militia company their marching orders. In
The Nightwatch , Rembrandt shows off his amazing technical skill with lighting and color, a key
characteristic of the Baroque era. Another key Baroque trait is livening up portraits as van Rijn does
here. No one in the painting is merely posing, but instead, is engaging in a conversation, preparing
their weapons, or watching their captain. This fluidness combined with the expert lighting and color
proves that this painting is truly Baroque.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Characteristic of the Baroque period is the subject matter of the painting, a maid working in the
kitchen. The maid stands in the kitchen pouring milk from a pitcher into a bowl. On top of a table
rests a basket of bread and window on the left provides the light for the picture. Like Rembrandt,
Vermeer also excelled in the lighting department. He also excelled in the Baroque style of painting
everyday scenes. The painting is not merely a boring portrait but a moving masterpiece. The
shadows, spots, and nail on the wall along with the lighting of the bread and pitcher testify to the
painting s Baroque
Examples Of Funny Memories With Anton
Funny memories with Anton (True Story)
By Richard Nata
My best friend named Antonius, we used to call him by the name of Anton. Anton, I ll always
remember funny stories with you.
No day without laughing while studying together Anton. We both had some physical similarity,
namely Chinese, handsome, thin, short, bespectacled and love to make people laugh. We fell
together because there was an oil spill on the road so that the motorcycle was driven Anton fell on
the road. When falling, we feel like the riders are being dropped in circuit racing. Our downfall on
the road no less intense with the fall of Valentino Rossi on the racing circuit. People shout to see us
fall.
They ran away to our place. We wake up and said, It s okay, everything ... Show more content on

So, we went home before the game ended.
The next day, Anton told me, yesterday really happen real fights between the participants of the
game. I really regret not being able to see a real fight. I can only imagine the fight was like a story in
the movie The Karate Kid.
When did I ask how the end results? Anton tells if they won the game. But after the game is finished,
then their Dojo fight with others Dojo elsewhere.
The question now is if I and Anton still there, whether both of us will be beaten like in the movie
The Karate Kid? Due to the shots of the two of us which caused the match to be the hot atmosphere.
I also do not know the answer. :)
There are still a lot of stories about me and Anton is not told here due to the limited number of
words. To date I will never forget has had a friend named Antonius because we have experienced no
day without laughing while still in college with him.
Anton now lives and works in Sydney, Australia. While I lived in Tangerang, Indonesia.

Lyme isn t precisely new. It s been recorded for more than a century. So, why it is being discussed
too much nowadays? That s because, we ve reached a tipping point in wellbeing where individuals
are ill, truly wiped out constantly. That makes it easier for all ailments to spread. Moreover, Lyme
accompanies a few other bacterial co contaminations that assist it hide inside the body.
These co contaminations were something that individuals would simply dismissed a century back.
They were sufficiently healthy to fend them off. For example measles, they were healthy to fend off
the contaminations and wind up plainly healthy in a matter of weeks.
Check out a few things individuals ate that we rarely eat nowadays, and these things are quite
effective in fighting off the infections:
Niacin rich vegetables such as winter squash,
The Effect Of Strain Gauge Rosette Used For Multi Channel...
Abstract While calculating the results from the collected data, the thin plate shows non linear
behaviour such that stress does not vary linearly with strain. In theory when pressure is concentrated
at the centre of a circular plate, stress value decreases with respect to increasing radial distance from
the centre. However in this case, we see that there are two principal stresses and they behave
differently than one another. This experiment will introduce us to a new strain gauge called strain
gauge rosette used for multi channel strain measurement and other equations to calculate principal
stresses and strains in a two dimensional state. Introduction For a thin circular plate, stress and strain
usually occur in a two dimensional state. As it is difficult to measure stress, strains are instead
measured in real life practices and its corresponding stress values are calculated. The most popular
measuring tool for strain is the strain gauge. Since strain is the measure of change in displacement
over the original dimension of a structure, the measuring tool must be sensitive enough to detect that
small change in displacement. Thus, we can learn how to handle sensitive measuring equipment and
ways to ensure that the data collected is as accurate as possible and also to omit any errors that will
affect the final calculation. Besides that, we can broaden our knowledge on multi channel strain
measurements because in reality two dimensional strains are not
E Chlorotica Lab Report
This experiment performed by pierce have been a landmark paper in recent years which serve as
the bases for many related studies. In this experiment , the specimen of E. chlorotica were collected
from salt marsh located at Martha Vineyartd., being starved for more than 2 months and kept at 10
°C with fluorescent light under 14:10 light dark illumination cycle [40]. The RNA were extracted
from E. chlorotica and transported to BGI in Hong Kong for analysis. Researchers have also
sequenced the genomeof V. litorea. E. chlorotica transcriptom were aligned with V. litorea as a

tkt, lhc, thf1 they are genes that play a role in photosynthesis ,carbon fixation , carbohydrate
metabolism, thylakoid structure, chaperon activities and chloroplast maintenance processes [40].
There are also chloroplast encoded transcripts that are important for the synthesis of chlorophyll a
such as cyt F and RuBisCO and D1, D2 and CP43 that work in PSI and PSII center. While other
proteins are having unidentified functions. These are important proteins which believed to sustain
the kletoplast function.
The experimental result is of significance as the RNA of slug is extracted from whole sea slug
extract that is free from algal contamination. The adult slug have been starved for 2 months where
the digestive tract should have no remaining food residue while the larval used in the experiment
have not been in contact with the algae [40]. Meanwhile the author explained that the integration of
nuclear genes into slug genome could account for the low algal transcript level at near single
