EXAMPLE ESSAY
Many people believe that traveling broadens the mind and allows us to see the world from a different
perspec ve. There are arguments both for and against this idea, but it is clear that travel offers unique
opportuni es for personal growth.

One benefit of travelling is that it exposes us to new experiences. Visi ng different places allows us
to discover unique tradi ons, food, and lifestyles. For example, exploring a foreign city can help us
understand different ways of life and appreciate cultural diversity.

Another poten al advantage is the chance to learn new languages. Communica ng with locals forces
travellers to prac se a foreign language in real-life situa ons. Without a doubt, this improves both
listening and speaking skills. Moreover, it helps people develop confidence when using another
language.

In addi on to this, travelling teaches independence and adaptability. Being in a new environment
means solving problems, making decisions, and stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Clearly, this helps
people become more self-reliant.

To sum up, travel is a real eye-opener because it provides new experiences, improves language skills,
and increases independence. On balance, it is one of the best ways to grow as a person.
