on Rubik’s cube?” “Pupil’s may give an exact
or an estimate answer.”

“When we get the total number of

cubes on that container, what we
have looked for?” “We looked for its volume.”

c.. Presentation
“What is volume by the way?” “It is the amount of space
occupied by any quantity..”

“That is right. How do we get the volume

of a cube? Anyone?”

“In finding the volume of cube, we can use

the formula V= s x s x s or V=s3.”

“For example this cube.

w
l
V= 3x3x3 or s3
V= 27

“What kind of polygon is this?”

“A rectangular prism teacher.”

“That is right. Can you give the volume

of the rectangular by just using the
dimensions length, width and height?
How?” “Yes teacher. By multiplying the
length, width and height.”

“What is the formula in finding the

volume of a rectangular prism? “Volume= length x width x height.
V=l x w x h.”

“Who can find the volume of this

rectangular prism?”

“A pupil will volunteer.”

“That is right. Everybody let’s give

___ a Yes clap. “The pupils will clap.”

“The teacher will cite more examples.”
