Difference Between Alienation And Karl Marx
Alienation was a subject matter of psychology until Karl marx penned it down in his writings by
assosiating this phenomenon with capitalism which was a social phenomenon.
He described alienation as a situation in which the creations of humanity appear to humans as alien
objects. Such creations are seen as independent fro their creators and invested with the power to
control them. People create their own society, but will remain alienated until they recognise
themselves within their ownc reation, Until that time, humans will assign an independent existence
to objects, ideas and institutions and be controlled by them. In the process, marx described, humans
lose themselves, become strangers in the world they created; they become alienated.

Society has witnessed a paradigm shift since the time when Marx wrote his theory of Alienation and
even though Marx considered revolution as the only solution to alienation but he could not envisage
the very fact that the concept of Revolution in itself would become a distant dream for workers. In
today s capitalism, workers now feel alienated from revolutionary consciousness itself which is
required to overcome the alienation they feel in capitalist production
Smithville School Board Situation Analysis
Recently, some disheartening Facebook posts were discovered on the page of Michael L. Till II
who is a candidate for the Smithville School Board. These posts ranged from racists to derogatory
to just plain inappropriate and showed us the lack of moral integrity by a candidate running for an
office that represents the Smithville SchoolDistrict. As a student in the district and a community
voice, I wanted to bring this to the attention of the voters of Smithville.

As the Smithville community works to advance the School District, Till does not have the moral
compass needed to hold a school board position and represent the students, faculty and
administration. Electing someone like Till would be a degression and misrepresentation to the goal
of the Smithville School District which is to build a tradition of excellence and help students
become proactive, compassionate leaders . For 13 years of our lives, we look up to adults and seek
out mentors in all aspects of the District, whether it be faculty, administration or school board
members. We should expect the utmost integrity, respect and commitment out of our community
leaders as they try to instill in us, the students.

Electing Till would put a person on the board who lacks this integrity and respect for all and would
show our students that it is okay to disrespect ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Good members will work tirelessly to represent the school districts they serve and will be sure
every decision is explained and understood. The Smithville School Board needs members who
have integrity, respect and hold a strong moral compass in order to succeed. Social media is the
first decider for elections in our current society and after researching Michael Till s ,I can assure all
that he does not fill the need character traits to help the Smithville School Board or School District

The Cause of Hatred and Distrust in the Middle East

The war in Iraq is further poisoning the already noxious political atmosphere between Arabs and
Americans. It has intensified and increased dangerous feelings of humiliation and outrage among
the Arab public, while paranoid rhetoric about Western attacks against Islam elsewhere is spreading
from the religious fringe to the mainstream. It is simplistic and self serving for political leaders in
the West to tell us that the terrorists attacks happen because they hate freedom, or hate our
democratic values or they despise our love of liberty. Many, in fact, hate what they perceive as
materialistic Western values, but this is not what leads them ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

This means that about 20% of the world s population is Muslim, 18% Christian, and 2.1% Jewish.
Of the 13 million Jews in the world, about 5.8 million live in the United States and about 4.8 million
live in Israel. This boils down to the fact that about 80% of the population in Israel is Jewish and
about 20% (or 1.1 million) is Arab Muslims. The population in the West Bank (a dry, land locked
area of about 5,860 square miles right smack in the middle of Israel) is about two million, of which
Palestinian Arabs comprise 83% (1.7 million) and Jews comprise about 17% (340,000). The
predominant religions in the West Bank are thus about 75% Muslim and 17% Jewish (with the
balance being mostly Christians). Basically there are about two million Arab Muslims surrounded by
about 4.8 million Jews. The Arabs and the Jews hate each other and have been fighting since the
United Nations had the brilliant idea of partitioning the country in this insane manner in 1947 (CIA
par.3).

Also, U.S. aid to Israel has played a major role in tension between Arabs and America and between
Arabs and Israel. On Ted Koppel s (NIGHTLINE), Henry Sigman said: The U.S. is seen as a sort
of an insensitive hegemony, with arrogance that seeks to impose its own values on the rest of the
world. It is seen as an uncritical supporter of the State of Israel in its conflict with the Palestinians

What Is Starbucks Vacantine s Day Mystery Menu
Starbucks is making the love month even sweeter for caffeine lovers with its Valentine s Day secret
menu, which consists of three new kinds of frappes.
Arizona based Starbucks employee Tony Aguilar concocted three Valentine s Day themed frappes
and posted them on Reddit. While he did not expect his frappuccino inventions to become a hit, the
new popular recipes are already making February even sweeter for coffee lovers, according to
Australia Network.
I was actually surprised with how popular they became, Aguilar told Cosmopolitan in an interview.
Starbucks s Valentine s Day secret menu includes the Valentine Frappuccino, the Love Bean
Frappuccino, and the Java Berry Frappuccino, the report details.

The Ultimate Question
The Ultimate Questions
First, let me start off my paper by giving thanks. I would like to thank you Lord for loving me
enough that he thought I was worth saving and worth keeping. He gave his life for mine, if this
wasn t so my presences would not be here. He put in place a Church and its leaders that helped
with my feedings of the words of God and as I listened my life began to change. My relationship
with him grew personally as well as my spiritually again thank you.
Being in this course the History of Ecclesiology and Polity, it has taught me many things about the
difference in denominations of the church. In the Pauline letters Paul, who was a minister of Christ
Jesus wanted us to know what was the structures and order of the Gentile ... Show more content on

Paul refers to many church leaders as Thessalonica for their hard work in the Lord. He asks that
they hold these leaders in the highest regard in love because of their work (Longenecker, R. N.
2002. p. 84). The overseers are those who serves the church as elders, bishops and deacons, So
Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip
his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity
in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole
measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11 13 NIV). There was no absence of organization in
the office of the church.
So why are there so many denominations? Here are a few names of some denominations that many
have choose to worship with. Some of us attend the Christian Non denomination, Catholic,
Presbyterian, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist or Wesleyan, Protestant, Pentecostal or Charismatic, and
Episcopalian or Anglican, Jehovah s Witness and Mennonite a few that comes to mind.
I am sure that there are more but I cannot think of them at this time. The denomination that has the
largest membership size in the United States in today s churches is the Catholic Churches. The
Catholic Church is also part of the Christian Church community that is led by a Pope, the Rome
Bishop or
Henry Jenkin s Transmedia Storytelling
Riverdale is a television series that is based on the Archie comic books and can be considered an
example of transmedia storytelling according to Henry Jenkin s criteria in his article Transmedia
Storytelling 101. The series follows Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Jughead,
characters from the Archie comic books, as the town of Riverdale is dealing with the aftermath of
Jason Blossom s death. Riverdale puts a mysterious and dark twist on the Archie comic books.
However, the characters and setting carryover from the comic books, which creates the argument
that Riverdale could be considered an example of transmedia storytelling. Riverdale is an example
of Henry Jenkin s transmedia storytelling as it expands the market for Archie... Show more content

The show permits people who have never read the Archie comic books to enjoy it, but it still has
elements from the comic books that people will enjoy too. Henry Jenkin s in his blogpost
Transmedia Storytelling 101 states, Transmedia storytelling practices may expand the potential
market for a property by creating different points of entry for different audience segments
(Jenkins). As seen in the case of Riverdale, the market surrounding the Archie comic books is
expanding from the comic books to a television series based on the comic books. Riverdale appeals
to a teen and young adult demographic and this allows for people who may not have grown up with
the Archie comics to become familiar with the characters. It also provides a darker series of events
than what was portrayed in the Archie comics which may appeal to a different audience than the
comics. Additionally, viewers of the television series who have never read the comic books may
start reading them because of their interest in the television show. Accordingly, people who are
fans of the comic books may be drawn to Riverdale because it is based on the comic books.
Therefore, this creates several entry points for people to become involved in Riverdale and the
Archie comic
The Tragedy Of Saint Louis
It seemed just like yesterday, back in the glory days. Back then, nearly two decades ago, life in
the Saint Louis area was perfect. Unlike today where Saint Louis is known for its crime and
violence, years ago conditions were different, the talk of the town used to be about the Cardinals
baseball team, they were once the pride and joy of the city. Constantly in the news after win after
win. For example, on this particular day on September 8th, 1998, a night that no Cardinal fan would
dare to forget, marks a historic day that is best remembered for being a celebration. What started off
like any other ordinary day, turned into an overwhelming thrill of excitement. On this day, Mark

Like so many times before, after the games it was tradition that no matter the outcome they would
go hang out and grab a few drinks. Either if it was to celebrate a great win or to recover from a
devastating lost, they made it a point to be there for each other. Their normal spot to hit up was the
Instant Replay, a sports bar in her hometown of Quincy Illinois. As the group of them walked into
the small stone exterior building they were greeted by several other people who had the same idea
that night. Almost everybody was handled around the television set. Of course, the Cardinals game
was on, they were playing longtime rival, the Chicago Cubs. You could tell everybody was
anticipating that this was finally going to be the night that Mark McGwire hit his record breaking
home run, I don t know if it was a gut feeling or just human nature, but everybody had the same
mindset (Roettger).

The illuminating lights of the television set to beam through the air, which showed the rolling
clouds of toxic cigarette smoke. In the condensed room, the thick smoky air made it hard to
breathe due to the poor continuous circulation of air throughout the building. As people walked
past it generated gust of smoke flying past your nose is every direction. Jill and her friends made
their way through the building in order to have a seat at bar stools in the back, it was like
