Mob-Mentality Nina Munteanu Analysis
In the statement on mob mentality by Nina Munteanu, mob mentality is when one individual takes
fear and uses it to their advantage. They are the ones that are responsible for controlling how others
act within the mob. People in the mob also become someone other than themselves. It is as if they
are temporarily insane, not thinking straight. A mob mentality is when the people within the mob
come up with their on desired form of justice. I agree with Nina, when she says if you allow the
mob to happen, you are allowing insanityto occur.
In an article by CBS News titled , Fear Factor: How Herd Mentality Drives Us, herd mentality is
described as It s the idea that the individual members of a herd relate, behave in a similar fashion... If
they act too much out of the norm, more often than not they re singled out and identified by a
predator and don t survive very long. In other words, a herd mentality is normally fueled by fear.
Secondly since we are all mammals, we use a side of our brains when we are overcome with fear,
which gives us two ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

when they state, It s the idea that the individual members of a herd relate, behave in a similar

Eyewitness Account of Lynching, and through To Kill A Mockingbird. These show that people
within a mob mentality act differently than normal, come up with their own twisted form of
justice, and can be seen as temporarily insane for a short period of time. Many people allowed for
the mobs to occur and that ended badly. So, if you allow a mob to happen, you are allowing insanity

(The role of intellectuals in the creation and justification of nuclear weapons.) In Fail Safe and Dr.
Strangelove, Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, Sidney Lumet and Stanley
Kubrick question the relationship between technology and humanity by emphasizing mankind s
tendency to create machines that cannot be adequately controlled. By blatantly revealing the
absurdity of game theory (Mutual Assured Destruction as a reasonable deterrence for nuclear war),
both directors call into question the dominant pro Cold War American ideology. One of the most
quintessential aspects of this ideology includes the drive for constant ... Show more content on

After World War II, this cultural paradigm solidified, taking on an intellectual coherence of its own.
Indeed, the logic behind this paradigm involved two widely accepted principles:
(1) The structure of American society is basically sound.
(2)Communism is a clear danger to the survival of the United States and its allies.

From the combination of these assumptions, emerged a new definition of Americanism that was
predicated upon the concepts of democracy, capitalism, and general material abundance. However, in
order to satisfy the demands of this new Americanism, the United States needed to struggle against
Communism and willingly support a strong defense system...for power is the only language that the
Communists can understand. Because the maintenance of a superior defense system required
frequent technological advancement, physicists, chemists, and other scientists became necessary
members of government/military research teams. In addition to the so called hard scientists,
theorists and strategic experts were needed in order to make informed and rational decisions about
the circumstances under which the new technological devices (i.e. nuclear weapons) should be used.
This emerging Cold War cultural paradigm was both created by and gave birth to a new breed of
academic the nuclear intellectual. Because technology, nuclear science, and war strategy became
such an integral part of the definition of
Essay On Reptilian Conspiracy Theory
Even though the Reptilian conspiracy theory is just a myth that many believe is to be true but does
not have any factual evidence to support it, the reptilian conspiracy theory is not valid because there
are no photographs to document it and there is not any factual evidence to validate it.
You may be asking yourself what is this Reptilian conspiracy theory? The Reptilian conspiracy
theory claims that our world is controlled by shape shifting humanoid aliens that appear to be
reptiles. It is said that the human race is infiltrated by Reptilians and many of which are in power.
Several world leaders have been identified as Reptilian shape shifters such as, Barack Obama,
George W. Bush, and Queen Elizabeth II. It is believed that these Lizard People are in positions of
power in order to manipulate human affairs, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With the talk that Reptilian aliens control our world then raises questions of what do they look
like. Technology has been evolving for many years as conspiracy theories have as well. There are
a lot of photoshopped images of what is claimed to be famous world leaders taking on the forms
of Reptilian shape shifters. Many images are altered to look real and convince the population that
this myth is true. There is not however any credible photographic proof that these alleged world
leaders are in fact shape shifters. There are a lot of softwares that can edit and create images that are
available to the public.
Some may argue that there are a lot of sources that have ample amounts of information convincing
us that these shape shifters are real. Unfortunately, a lot of websites are not monitored by credible
people. A lot of the images that we see are in fact edited to represent what people think is lizard
people . Typically, it s usually an image that is popular from the supposed leader and then
photoshopped to appear like the conspiracy theory
Semi-Demonic Toaster Poem Analysis
My illustration was not over a poem covered in chapters 5 or 6. It is named Semi Demonic
Toaster and was written by me. This specific poem was a good choice for me because creating it
myself gives me more of a sentimental attachment to my work, letting me better justify the other
required work that had to be put in for the project. It also was satisfying to hand sculpt a poem that
is not only a work of art but also helps to convey my emotions at the time of its conception.
This poem although not written during the movement itself is an example of Naturalism. The poem
itself is about a single mother and her child, the mother works long hours but can t afford much due
in part to her less than legal wages. As a gift to her son she gets a toaster with her christmas bonus
money, however this was no ordinary toaster. As ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although it isn t clearly stated i view the family as a representation of working Americans below
the poverty line in general. While it can be said that not every poor person actively tries to pull
their weight the vast majority have become modern day wage slaves because of large scale greed
and inflation without changing of wage laws. The toaster is used to represent those above the
poverty line, especially upper middle class families. Although the toaster did not choose to be evil
it acts on its environment as to be expected by a Semi demonic toaster. Those who take a stance on
politics are generally unhappy with the system of inflation and inevitable depression that the
market is trending towards, causing them to lash out more violently as nothing changes with time.
The toaster goes from small rodents, to large pets, and finally to humans as it could not be satisfied
with what it had done before. I capture both of these in my illustration by giving the toaster
demonic eyes and giving a general look of poverty and dismay to the family s
Heritgae Museum Innovation
The Impact of Innovation on Heritgae Museum s identities
Sophia Borissenko, 126127973, [email protected]
The purpose of this study is to define and examine the range design requirements for a variety of case
studies on heritage museums with modern intervention, each of which has a different type: internal
intervention, addition or integration. In doing so, an analysis of the impact of the case by case
design requirements that the innovation has on the building s idenity can be made. Furthermore, the
literature review will highlight the fact that there are similarities and differences while finally
considering the notion that comparisons and commendalities could be made and will be further
explored.

The aim was to preserve the architectural integrity of the ex isting building (Stott, 2014). The
proposed design hides underground beneath the existing footprint of the museum, which acts as a
landmark for the ar chitecturally conservative city. Ashley Hahn says, the expansion is by
excavation, and removing ob structions inserted into the museum s original de sign, which allow for
major improvements to light, circulation, and exhibition space. These are the main design
requirements of which the project is based. In other areas, Gehry added simple sand stone clad stair
enclosures to accommodate mod ern safety regulations (Hahn, 2014). He began by studying the
DNA of the building. He then looked at the significant assets that the original architects provided to
create a strong entry sequence and cir culation pattern. The aim of this is to connect the new to the
old giving the impression that the mu seum was of one harmonious design (Stott,
The Bell Jar by Plath
If neurotic is wanting two mutually exclusive things at one and the same time, then I m neurotic as
hell. I ll be flying back and forth between one mutually exclusive thing and another for the rest of
my days (Plath). Plath was in fact a schizophrenic, never really being cured and only receiving
temporarily relief from her own mind with electroshock therapy. Her novel, The Bell Jar, is almost a
self biography with the veil of fiction over the story of Plath s own life being so thin that her
mother fought its publication (McCann 1631). Nevertheless, Plath s immense hard work paid off
and it was published. Writing was Plath s passion and when she wrote, her life became an
enthralling story. Sylvia Plath s late teenage years, time right... Show more content on

I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn t make up
my mind which of the figs I would chose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one
meant losing all the rest (Plath 75).

To make matters worse, when she arrived home a letter awaited her saying that she had been
rejected from Frank O Connor s short story class. She was almost positive that she would get in
and was deeply devastated when she received the rejection letter. Both the disappointment of New
York and the rejection from the coveted writing class that she counted on started a deep spiral
into clinical depression. Pressure was building up between her mom pushing her to return to her
old self and her inability to sleep or read. Plath felt despondent. She even had an unsuccessful
attempt at suicide by hiding herself away in the crawl space of her cellar and taking an overdose
of sleeping pills. However, Plath was found and immediately institutionalized. Plath described this
time as the blackest in her life saying in A Birthday Present I would have killed myself gladly that
time any possible way (Malmsheimer 531).

Throughout the novel, Sylvia Plath emphasizes the curious similarity of physical and mental illness
as if to say that both are symbolic of a larger condition which is our life today. In the novel, Esther
noticed that everyone she knows sits under bell jars of a sort. However, Plath is no sentimentalist
and knows quite well that her
The Success Of Aston Martin
When one has a history of car racing talent, passion for automobiles and enthusiasm, one can start
their own car production and sales business. That s how the Aston Martin brand was started, born
into a garage by Lionel Matin and Robert Bamford.

After Lionel Martin emerged victorious out of the famed Aston Hill race, Aston Martin was founded
in the year 1913. The duo of Martin Bamford produced their first car 2 years later in 1915 by
fitting a four cylinder Coventry Simplex engine to a 1908 Isotta Fraschinni chassis. However, the
First World War shattered their plans of starting production as both car makers joined the army.

Down but not out, Aston Martin prevailed as soon as the War was over, with the company being
refunded to resume its activity. But soon after bad news again came by when Bamford left Aston
Martin in 1920. Luckily Martin found a wealthy investor Count Louis Zborowski who saw the true
potential of the brand and poured heavy funds into its rejuvenation.

Aston Martin produced vehicles to compete in the French Grand Prix in 1922.It gained fame by
appearing in some of the most popular races of that time, the cars also collected acclaim by setting

Bipolar I, Bipolar II, And The Cyclothymic Disorder
Distinguish between bipolar I, bipolar II, and the cyclothymic disorder. Causes? Treatments?
People with bipolar I disorder have full manic and major depressive episodes. Most of them
experience an alternation of the episodes; for example, weeks of mania may be followed by a
period of wellness, followed, in turn, by an episode of depression. Some, however, have mixed
episodes, in which they display both manic and depressive symptoms within the same episode for
example, having racing thoughts amidst feelings of extreme sadness. In bipolar II disorder,
hypomanic that is, mildy manic episodes alternate with major depressive episodes over the
course of time. When a person experiences numerous periods of hypomanic symptoms and mild
depressive symptoms, but not full blown episodes, DSM 5 assigns a diagnosis of cyclothymic
disorder. The symptoms of this milder form of bipolar disorder continue for two or more years,
interrupted occasionally by normal moods that may last for only days or weeks. Possible Causes
Mania may be related to high norepinephrine activity along with a low level of serotonin activity.
Some researchers have also linked bipolar disorders to improper transport of ions back and forth
between the outside and the inside of a neuron s membrane, others have focused on deficiencies of
key proteins and other chemicals within certain neurons, and still others have uncovered
abnormalities in key brain structures. Genetic studies suggest that people may inherit a
