Phân biệt tính từ ngắn & tính từ dài:

Tính từ ngắn (Short adjectives) Tính từ dài (Long adjectives)

- Là tính từ có một âm tiết - Là tính từ có từ 2 âm tiết trở lên


Vd: red, long, short, hard,…. Vd: beautiful, friendly, humorous, ….
- Là tính từ có 2 âm tiết tận cùng là y, et, er, ow, le
Vd: happy, noisy, lazy, easy, narrow, clever, quiet, noble.

COMPARATIVE FORM (So sánh hơn)

AdjER THAN MORE + adj + THAN


Ex: This book is thicker than that one. Ex: He is more intelligent than me.
SUPERATIVE FORM (So sánh nhất)
THE adjEST THE MOST+ Adj
Ex: It is the darkest time in my life. Ex: She is the most beautiful girl in my class.
