Internal vs External Change Leaders
Introduction Organisation development(OD) is a planned process of change in an organisation s
culture through the utilization of behavioral science technology, research and theory (Warner Burke,
1982). It also refers to a long range effort to improve an organisation s problem solving capabilities
and its ability to cope with changes in its external environment with the help of external or internal
behavioral scientist consultant or change agents (Wandell French, 1969). Organisation
transformation(OT) is a term referring collectively to such activities as re engineering, redesigning
and redefining business systems. It is often used when there is existing issue faced by the
organisation. Organisation development is the preferred choice... Show more content on

Strong inter relationship between internal change agents, the fellow employees and clients can help
in the understanding of the result gathered in the earlier steps. This is important as the failure to
establish a common frame of reference in this relationship will lead to faulty diagnosis or to a
communication gap whereby client become unwillingly to believe the diagnosis. By using internal
change agents, organisations are more likely to have the trust in the diagnosis as compare to external
change agents because internal change agents have the more sense of ownership to the OD as
compare to external change agents. Joint action planning: At this stage, further action for the OD had
been decided. Internal change agents will have the advantage of getting hold of the first hand
information. Any immediate follow up action can be access and rectify Action: This stage involves
the actual change from one organisation state to another. It may include installing new methods and
procedures, reorganising structures and work designs, and reinforcing new behaviour. This stage
may also take a long period to reach the ideal outcome. Although external change agents are often
viewed as professional and has more credibility, internal change agents have the advantage of the
sense of ownership to the change. Internal change agents are viewed as part of the organisation and
fellow employee will trust them and will result in a smoother transition period. Data
Alexander The Great And Its Influence On The...
Alexander the Great is one of history s most revered figures. Not only because at such a young age
he conquered the known world, but he also exhibited a dynamite personality that rose him up the
legendary status he has today. One major mystery still remains to this day about Alexander and this
is in regard to how he exactly died. Today historian s using sources from Alexander s time have
come up with three ways Alexander may have died. The causes are: a myriad of diseases
(pneumonia, leukemia, pleurisy, etc.), a poisoning, or perhaps the long term effects of the
consumption of alcohol. The consumption of alcohol is the most intriguing factor as it would paint
Alexander the Great in a much darker picture. Fortunately for his posthumous self... Show more

About three to four times a month people would take place in a symposium which mainly
consisted of getting drunk and talking about the happenings of society. Greeks made sure to use
diluted wine during their symposia, but the Macedonian s would make sure to use proper
undiluted wine. One reason being the overall better wine that Macedonia had compared to the
Greeks down south. Alexander would employ the use of symposia according to the researchers
among others, a political purpose the image of a new sovereign as heir to the behavior of that of
the previous ruler . From this it is clear that wine was hugely vital to the Hellenic culture which
allowed anyone to drink consume it. Mostly all citizens would take part in these symposia so it s
clear that what Alexander did was very normal. Heck it was an insult if one did not drink at all in
these gatherings so it would make no sense for Alexander to keep sober during these times.
Obviously having stronger Macedonian wine did make it so soldiers and citizens would just fall
asleep faster. It also would make Alexander get drunk faster, but never to the point of an obsession

The world has shrunk because of globalization, eroding national borders and greater access to digital

The right agent can arrange a smaller order at better prices. You won t need to place a massive
order just to get cost breaks. Finding the right supplier can be very difficult for outsiders who
aren t familiar with China. Communication can become difficult, and assessing whether a given
supplier is ethical, capable and experienced enough to handle your order and deliver quality
results can be impossible for foreign managers with little or no experience in dealing with Chinese

the buyer could easily get in trouble fast. ( removed HTML )

Descriptive Essay About My Country
New Nashville
Our city is called New Nashville, with a population of about 13,000. Our city is loosely based on
Nashville, TN; so our climate is hot and humid, as well as the geography being low and flat. We
also have a river that goes through the the upper part of town. With the geography being so perfect
for parks, our economy is largely spent on parks for all ages, community centers, and other
buildings that usually go into residential areas. Our city has a very peculiar set up; where our
commercial and residential are together, but our industrial buildings are as far away as possible.
We decided to set it up this way because we wanted to ensure that no pollution would harm our
residents. Our residential and commercial areas consist of houses, shops, religious centers, schools,
libraries, parks, and entertainment places. Meanwhile, the industrial area is full of many successful
companies, as well as solar power buildings, water towers, and low pollution garbage and sewage
buildings.
The infrastructure in Nashville isn t what one would call the most unique at first; because we
have the normal facilities that most cities have. However, when you look closer, you ll discover
that we have spent much money on police, hospitals, and fire stations; to ensure the safety of our
residents. After, we decided to add as many schools and ways of transportation as we could; to
make sure our city s residents are educated and can get around. Then we added the entertainment
centers, like parks, malls, etc. The way we set up our infrastructure was very important for our
city, as we tried to make sure that the number one priority was safety. This took a large chunk out
of our budget; but it greatly reduced our crime, fire, and death rate; and brought up the schooling
rates; we had to make sure that our residents were okay. In the end, taxes was low, people s needs
were filled, and everyone was very happy with New Nashville. However, not all people s needs were
filled. The elderly population still goes through lots of trouble everyday.
Our city will incorporate a variety of futuristic events. The first of which is a virtual reality display
that is meant for elder people. Although this seems a frivolous detail, it would in fact
Students At Clearview Middle School
A majority of the students in Middle Tennessee Public Schools come from a low income family
household. The school in which I work, Clearview Middle School is not only low income, but is
also a priority school. Priority schools are in the bottom five percent in being in the category of
lowest performing in the school district. The population of students at Clearview Middle School are
majority African American, but the cultures among the school are rich and diverse. Many students at
Clearview Middle School have high potential of achieving great academic success, but fall short due
consistent classroom disruptions throughout the day. Although a majority of the students in the
school do not display inappropriate classroom behaviors,... Show more content on [Link] ...
A handful of my students were either emotionally disturbed or had experienced traumatic
experiences outside of the classroom, typically in the communities they live in. For example, I
had a student named Brandon who experienced daily issues with misbehaviors and defiance in the
classrooms in which he entered. This student had been classified as emotionally disturbed before
entering Clearview Middle. Brandon had issues with obtaining safe relationships with peers and
staff, refusing to follow basic safety procedures, and defiance with authority on multiple
occasions. As a part of his safety plan, Brandon was to come to my classroom to reset when these
types of behaviors occurred. Brandon and I had a relationship where he knew my expectations
when he entered my classroom and we had a trusting relationship. I had built this relationship with
Brandon based upon implementing morning check ins with him in a social and emotional learning
aspect. I would make sure he was feeling okay before entering his classes and seeing what I could
do to fix any problems that had happened that morning or could arise as the day goes on. Soon later
this student was expelled due to continuous defiance and interfering with the safety with himself and
with other students. I believe this could have been avoided if Brandon had received social and
emotional learning experiences with other

The iBooks Author format is only able to be read in the iBooks ecosystem, and it can only be
created in the iBooks Author program on a Macintosh computer. iBooks Author files are inherently
fixed layout, meaning that the design is static and does not allow the reader to change the font
size or other visual settings. However, iBooks Author also has an option for creating a reflowable
version of the content that can be accessed by changing the orientation of the device. Normally the
fixed layout design is implemented in landscape while the reflowable design is implemented in
portrait, but this can be determined by the designer creating the file. iBooks Author files should not
be used for children s eBooks because it does not have support for narration overlays (the Read

Apple calls these files multi touch because they are designed to include interactive features and

Mandatory Access Control
In computer security, Discretionary Access Control (DAC) is a type of access control in which a
user has complete control over all the programs it owns and executes, and also determines the
permissions other users have those those files and programs. Because DAC requires permissions to
be assigned to those who need access, DAC is commonly called described as a need to know access
model.
In computer security, discretionary access control (DAC) is a type of access control defined by the
Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria[1] as a means of restricting access to objects based on
the identity of subjects and/or groups to which they belong. The controls are discretionary in the
sense that a subject with a certain access permission ... Show more content on [Link] ...
Early hardware based enforcement implementations of MAC such as Honeywell s SCOMP, USAF
SACDIN, NSA Blacker, and Boeing s MLS LAN focused on MLS to protect military oriented
security classification levels with robust enforcement. Originally, the term MAC denoted that the
access controls were not only guaranteed in principle, but in fact. Early security strategies[2] enabled
enforcement guarantees that were dependable in the face of national lab level attacks.
More recently, with the departure from strict hardware based enforcement the expectations of the
term mandatory has become more relaxed, migrating from mandating near absolute enforcement to
acceptance of best effort enforcement. While software based enforcement is more flexible, the
security technology has not yet produced a software based enforcement strategy that can enforce a
policy with near certainty. This is because it has been much more difficult to be certain about what a
software based system will never do compared to that of hardware based system. With software

Gonadotropins Research Paper
Injectable Fertility drugs (gonadotropins)
What are gonadotropins?
Gonadotropins are injectable fertility medications, containing follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)
alone or combined with luteinizing hormone (LH). During a natural menstrual cycle, both FSH and
LH are produced by the pituitary gland in the brain to naturally stimulate the ovaries to produce a
single egg each month. When FSH (with or without LH) is given as an injection, it works directly
on the ovaries to make multiple follicles (cysts containing eggs).
Gonadotropins are used during fertility treatments such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro
fertilization (IVF). Injections of gonadotropins are started early in the menstrual cycle to cause
multiple eggs to grow to a mature size. Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), another injectable
medication, is then used to trigger the release of the eggs when they are mature. Close monitoring of
patients with ultrasound who are using these medications is advised in order to minimize the side
effects and risks. ... Show more content on [Link] ...
When FSH is given in larger amounts than would occur in a natural menstrual cycle it results in
more than one egg being ripened and matured.
1. Sometimes if you are not ovulating, Gonadotrophins are given in the amount roughly equal to that
of a natural menstrual cycle and this is called ovulation induction.
2. Gonadotrophins are commonly used in IVF cycles. The intention here is to produce ideally 10
to 15 eggs with the aim of fertilizing them outside the body. The reason why so many eggs are
necessary is that the process of IVF is relatively inefficient and the more eggs that are available for
fertilization, the more likely pregnancy is to
I Am The Product Of Clark County Educational System Essay
Reflection
Introduction
Writing has never been my forte. Nevertheless, this is not to say that I could not write. Throughout
the semester with the assigned reading assignments and the given practical writing exercises I have
come to grasp a vague understanding, I had never been taught how to write essays correctly. I am the
product of Clark County Educational system. I have always struggled through my last classes and
hoped to get out of my struggles this semester. One the greatest challenges that I faced was the
distinction that existed among different types of writings that are performed within the English
language. I did not understand how the distinction between a narrative essay, report essay and an
analytical essay, argumentative essay, and reflective essay among other types of essays. I just
thought all was the same regarding content and structure.
Additionally, this semester has, however, had an influence on my writing skills and ability a great
deal. Before this class, I began my papers with plain facts. The readings and the writing conducted
throughout this semester have enabled me to understand the wrongs and the rights encompassed
within the English language. Before engaging in writing, I started by discussing my thoughts and
impressions with my peers or basically a brainstorming session. Finally, finishes up with a computer
search on the subject assigned. Furthermore, the overview and the in depth study conducted on the
topic was very helpful. I became
The Importance Of Honor And Glory In Homer s Iliad
Honour and glory are central to the Greek character. Since heroes are the essence of the society
from which they come, Greek heroes live their lives according to honour and glory, in all their
varied forms. Honour and glory trigger an epic war that takes the lives of numerous men, and shape
its development at every stage. The fall of Troy is a thing... whose glory shall perish never (Homer,
Iliad2.324) . The goal of the Greeks is the fame that resounds even after death, and they let nothing
bar their way. The honour of the individual, family, and community guide every action and response.
Honour and glory define the hero, and therefore are the foundations for everything that comes to
pass in Homer s Iliad.
The concepts of honor and glory are critical to understanding the motivation of the heroes in
Homer s Iliad1 . Glory was gained by great, heroic actions and deeds and was conferred upon an
individual by others who witnessed and acclaimed the glorious actions. Major battles provided an
opportunity for many to find glory at once. Honor was similar to glory, but while the public had to
view actions and deem them glorious, each individual maintained their own sense of personal honor
which did not always coincide with honor as defined or perceived by the masses. Honor was gained
through heroism in battle, but also through compelling speechmaking, loyalty and other noble
qualities that a person might demonstrate. Having honor and glory allowed a Greek to gain influence
